I know this is an old video but thanks for playing the game and looking at all the details in this level. I'd replay this game over and over as a kid and just interact with as many things as I could. It blew my mind back then how detailed this game was.
The symbolism when Max is in the car with Vladimir. Vlad is cheerful while wearing white. Max is usually melancholy and feeling dark. He is wearing black. Strange how people miss this things.
I don't think people miss things in the way you think they do. These details are designed to work subconsciously in the minds of the players. They don't need to be aware of it but just "feel" it as part of a whole that just works fine.

Is this "Max Payne II"? Like 'Stand-Alone version 2. The one bought seperately? I have have the first one on Steam, and then seems like it automatically went to this version. So I don't know if I am finished playing the Original game or if the original game has more levels, or did Steam assumed I wanted to play more.

I don't think that was intentional by the designers, but those really are often the dressing habits of those personalities. Good eye.
