When I was at Pennzoil the Chairman brought a Challenger about 1989 ish. But a shorter version. Sat 10 as outfitted. The G-2s carried 14. We always flew with 3 crew. 2 pilots and a certified mechanic
Talk about learning what those switches are…. lol. I flew for a major airline for 37+ years, recently retired. I didn’t know what half the switches were when I was flying as well😳😳🤣🤣🤣🤣
It is very easy to do in this day and time. I have been a pilot since 1986 and a commercial pilot since 2008. First thing is to find a Dr that can give you an FAA medical. You need to make sure you can get a 1st class medical. If you can’t there are things you can do but for this post, let’s say you get the medical. Then look at the different schools online that have progression to United or American. You can still fly for anyone but they are they safety blanket. There are loans that you can get and yes it is around $100,000 but the airlines will help you pay it off. You will go through flight school, then become an instructor for the school, then go fly regional jets, then you go up from there. The money is awesome!! It was not when I started and there was no financial help. Good luck and go for it!!
Keep after it Brady! I have a distant relative who flys (or flew… may have retired) and loved it. I also have several neighbors who fly for Delta and another for Sun Country. I understand that the job market for pilots is solid. Better than when I was in flight school 20+ years ago when my advisor told me there were no jobs for pilots. Which was fine for me personally. Passed the ground school with flying colors but hit the wall with the expense of obtaining the flight hours for a full license. Ask pilots how they did it… a few worked their way in working as plane cleaners for jet services then onto Ferry pilots moving planes to locations (sans passengers) . Good luck - and keep on it. Chase your dreams as far as you can.
Far gone are the days of hauling your racecar on an open trailer and sleeping in your RV cab mounted to the bed of your pickup truck. If you slept, that is.
That’s a beautiful aircraft, but rather than spend all that $$$ to update those avionics, should’ve sold it and got a Challenger 350. Tons more performance than those CF34s can provide - it’ll climb directly to FL430 and go M0.80 all day long. It’s a way better aircraft! It has a more reliable APU as well…..
For the sake of views, you have to film one of these videos while there are actual drivers, execs, or pitt crew athletes on the plane. “Flying a NASCAR Race Team” vs “Flying to Richmond with Denny and the #11 Team” Has a different ring to it…

The edit of the “race its self” was funny. Good work
Absolute banger content from JGR as always!
Thank you!
Warch from the UK! Thanks for great videi :)

This is a really cool different side of a race team! Dream job for sure.

Flying for 37+ years makes your comment just a little less frightening. Didn’t know what half the switches did! 🤢
Wonderful video really enjoyed 😉 😀 👍 👌 👏 😊
What a nice looking Challenger 604!
I thought the pilots were vaping their asses off for a sec
I wanna be a pilot so badly I’m looking at colleges right now and I want to fly for FedEx.

Appreciate the video, love it.
My friend, Chuck Beam (CB) works the tower there!
Need to put the race cars into a plane next
you ever seen a car in a plane?
no, and there are good reasons for it
@@jabber1990 when nascar whent to Japan they put the cars into planes
@@Corndogger61 pretty sure they put them in containers and shipped them
lol
F1 does it all the time
I track them all the time. It’s fun knowing where everyone is 😁
So cool, eric is my neighbor
I predict Christopher Bell will win this weekend at Richmond with his new crew chief on board with him
Who?
Adam Stevens had an injury during the Olympic break so bell will will have a new crew chief starting this weekend at Richmond
@@marcusvillarreal How many races?
@@krinky0666 a few weeks I don't know how many probably before the playoffs
what's with all the smoke?
That’s not smoke in the cockpit that’s the air. That is the air from the packs system that keeps the people on board alive
It’s just water vapor from the oxygen and air conditioning.
It's the ghost of Tony Stewart checking in for shits and giggles.
Not sure I would be proud to be on video “kicking the tires” as part of your preflight.
Yeah I’m sure you use an air gauge on your preflights bud…
Well Done Thank you
Is that Elvis?

Are you guys tired of the "Flight Spoilers" CAS Message yet! 🙂
