Good answers to the marriage question. I am 64 and still am amazed that young people without religious pressure think of marriage as some fairytale “ live happily together, forever and ever”. LOVE the studio! I think Tonka will be very happy spending time at the studio!
Every time I see you two together I always think about how one of the things that probably makes your relationship successful is because you and Rocket “yes and” each other. You randomly start dancing and he grabs your hands and joins you. He talks in a goofy voice, and then you join him. Such a good thing in a relationship.
Re Marriage: I had friends in school whose parents weren't married and when he got into a car accident she wasn't allowed to see him in hospital, the children had to go back and forth and explain things, after that they got married not for any other reason than legal stuff.
Since then of course civil partnerships have come in so that helps with that issue.
Yes! I just left a comment touching on this. My husband and I have been together for 20 years and it was only last year we finally got married it was pretty much for this same reason, to protect each other legally in case of who knows what. Knock on wood.
Exactly this. In Denmark a guy was killed and because he and his partner weren't married yet and the house was in his name, his girlfriend lost the house. So tragic.

I feel like the curse of an artist, or graphic design artist at least, is that the vibe/look of our work is ALWAYS changing. Stylistically every artist has their “essence”, BUT DO NOT ask me to choose ONLY ONE color palette 😂

Commercial art (ie graphic design, illustration, any practice where there is a client involved) should change. I feel like there is something so selfless about graphic design - you are working to make the world a better place. You are making things more legible, or creating solutions to creative problems, making apps easier to use and websites easier to navigate. On top of that working with a client there are new specs every project including colours that are acceptable to use for the brand etc so it makes sense that it changes constantly. I feel the consistent style for a designer or commercial artist is their eye/taste rather than exactly what we see them make. Thoughts?
@@furrylittlepeach I completely agree! Just like when you hear a bands new album, you can almost just tell that it’s them. Same with artists, projects may be vastly different but you can still see flecks of the artists own personal flare within each individual project. ❤️

Our 1/2 siamese cat (Pooh Bear) was miserable when we tried to get him a cat buddy. Eventually, we got a dog whom Pooh happily adopted. We like who we like right. :)

Tom and I got married last month after being together for almost a decade and we just did it for legal reasons and because I wanted his last name haha. We eloped but hired a beautiful venue so we could have a couples photoshoot in the gardens and it was THE BEST decision. You can also have a completely non-religious ceremony and you don't even need rings. We had the most basic simple ceremony, basically just read the stuff we needed to legally, signed the documents, and then bam it was done.
Definitely recommend it, but agree it's not a big special life changing event when you don't really care about weddings or marriage. I woke up feeling exactly the same the day after I was married.
I just want to tell you that I keep your videos like a little treasure to watch them when I have 100% alone time and no kids around. I really enjoy them!
Love how joyful your art is. I'm always hesitant to use bold colors and mix so many different hues, your paintings always encourage me to take risks more 😊

18:01 i think this person wants a master's degree as a path to move/immigrate abroad. it is a viable path, but i think a more strategic way would be to have that international reach via social media, portfolio and/or intl client works first and then plan the move. that way, there's a more solid foundation in case the person wants to stay permanently abroad upon finishing their education.

Alias mae - although the sides are peeling back a little and it started happening after a week so i dont know if they're worth the price!!!
If you want similar boots, look up Dr. Martin’s, their boots are super high quality. I have had a pair for close to 15 years and they look better now than when I first bought them.
If you're looking for some that are very similar, Dr. Martens makes Chelsea boots 🙌🏽 I have them and they're some of my favorite boots
