Sorry to hear about you and the wife coming down with covid. Hope you are coping. Fingers crossed for your daughter recovering from her epilepsy flare-up. We've had covid here but we've come through OK. I tried Ghost BSD for a while and it mostly worked apart from a few fiddly bits and pieces. One big problem was with Firefox. For some reason there was no DRM check box which meant I couldn't watch anything on Amazon Prime video. Other than that it was fine, however I am using Linux Mint Debian Edition 5 which does totally work. I may return to GhostBSD again though because I do quite like it.
Thank you for your kind words Mark, most appreciated. Yeah I may look at mint, I've used it in the past also, liked how you could mount ntfs volumes with it.
Hope things improve @ home Gary this is a nasty time till we get immunity. Ghost has been on my secondary machine for a couple of years and has been unstoppable however the last major upgrade Ethernet stopped working so I had to replace it with Mint Mate which I'll keep for a while till Eric fixes things on Ghost.
I suspect you are running GhostBSD in vmware? To my experience it runs better in virtualbox, this is also the only virtualization environment the GhostBSD wiki addresses. You will have definitely more and better resolutions in there.
Hey, read up on the ketogenic diet/ why we are carnivores, and CBD. Don't feed you child/ or your self sugars/ carbs (we don't need sugars/ carbs) fat and animal proteins
I largely tinker using FreeBSD, although GhostBSD went onto the Toshiba laptop, and provisioned every device.

It is probably still running in FB mode (framebuffer video) instead of the actual video driver you need for your system. That always defaults to 720p
Hmm I haven't had any jibjabs and I haven't been sick in all this time. Weird!
is there a difference between fish terminal and mate terminal?

Maybe use xrander to change display resolution or in display settings

Maybe review this now that you're better.
