I’m going to join you for some challenges. I’m not sure what ones yet, but I plan to set up my new budget planner and goals this week so I will figure it out from there 😊
We did the £5 challenge last year. It proved lucrative. In a year we got almost £300. The small loose change we didn’t keep a record went into a piggy bank called ‘pork’ demonstrated the look after the pennies phenomenon. Good luck and all the best for 2025.
I'm biased because I'm doing a penny challenge too!! I started already because I emptied my change jar and already I love coloring in my different circles. It's very satisfying ☺ ☺
Morning Nicola. Happy boxing day. I'm definitely joining your £5 a week challenge. It's definitely doable. And I think I'll add the penny challenge too, as you say it's change from your purse so why not. Xx
I rarely get £2 coins anymore either. I checked my run where I save them recently and was disappointed with how little was in it. I might give the fiver Friday a go.
Hi Nicola. Thankyou for your videos You are one of my favourite frugal people to follow and I always look forward to the next vlog . This year I am aiming to do ...Fiver Fridays, Save all small change under £1.00 ,and also £1.00 coin per week , in total I hope to save £500 . Best of luck with your saving plans and Happy New Year
Hi Nicola hope your Christmas dinner went well and you had a lovely day🎄I’m going to join you in the Fiver Friday challenge I think it’s doable 👍I’ve just bought it from your shop now and already have the £1 and £2 challenges from you. Thanks they’re lovely 🤩 xx
My bank does round up savings so I'm i do that on every purchase and it goes towards my car costs. Any savings challenges i would so will probs be electronic too!
I keep all change in a tin and I usually take it to Morrisons to get a voucher to change into notes. There is a machine in Sainsbury’s, but it’s placed too close to the tills and then I feel embarrassed as people tend to stare due to the noise that the coins make. 😩😊

Just ordered the last of the five pound challenge cards. Looking forward to setting this up and completing it. Thanks to your inspiration Nicola x
The think that works best is rounding all spends up to the next pound🙂
It definitely adds up ☺️
@@NicolaatTheFrugalCottageI do that with Chase, it's great for saving
Joining you on the £5 Friday, I already do the 1p challenge
Amazing! ☺️
I found a tin in B and M (thank you!) and can't wait to start Fiver Friday and Tenner Tuesday!
Great! 💜

Fiver Friday may be helpful for Christmas savings. I might do that. And doing it in cash would make my monthly accounting simpler!
Why not give it a go? ☺️

It’s the same in the sainsburys here as well!
