Thank you team. This is amazing to watch. Looking of blacking out an old tattoo and finishing up my half sleeve. This makes me hopeful of it looking good and finding someone that can do it the right way

So, i'm doing blackout work on myself. Mine are coming out looking great by time I'm done, but once healed they come out faded. WHAT am i doing wrong? Ive asked many other creators but haven't gotten a definitive answer.

Hmm… there are many things that could be wrong inside the process, do you tattoo people apart from your self?

@@AbusevTattoo i do yes, my line work is good after healing as well as shading, it just happens when im color packing/doing blackout. I havent done a blackout on another person, just on myself as of now, but the fading happens on both myself and ive had it happen on a client. I dont do colored pieces, just black/ grey washes

Ok, well the technical part of making solid ink in general and blackout as specific, the movements, motion and the pressure applied to skin is quite different . Apart from that, specific equipment can be more suitable for specific tasks, so it is really a very wide range of things that could be going wrong.

@@AbusevTattoo ive binge watched your videos, you all do absolutely amazing work! And that is one of the very first things i noticed while doing this blackout as well as what you were saying in your vids, the application is definitely different in many different areas. Its crazy how much people say blackout tattoos arent creative or difficult, they've got no idea! Ill just keep figuring it out, im bound to find my answer, but thank you for taking the time to reply and keep up the amazing work!🙏
