I get that - there are bikes that I have parted with that I regret... however, the Trophy is not one them (for me). Great bike and I will always look back on it with fond memories (as I rode across Europe on one! Haha!) However, this decision was based on personal reasons.
Thanks buddy! I want to head back to Scotland again (ok obviously) but to new places (maybe Isla/Jura)... Also thinking about the channel Islands (family origins there)... But I think that the big one may have to be the Artic Circle (if I can get the time off!)

Sorry to hear that you had to get rid of you trophy. I also got rid of mine for some of the same reasons you mention. I traded it for a K1600 GTL. The trophy is a great tourer but the GTL is a little bit more comfortable. Stay upright cheers mate
Dude - not gonna stuff around - if you're complaining about how heavy this is or how heavy the clutch is then you need to seriously harden up. The Triumph Trophy SE is such an easy bike to ride. You'll definitely find lighter bikes and lighter clutches but will they be any good for long-distance riding, offer the same wind protection or even just handle cross-winds or carrying extra weight? I suspect not but happy to be proven wrong.
