I've been a successful realtor for several years now and I truly believe that home ownership is one of the stupidest goals to have. I rent and as a result, my cash is always liquid, my children are in private school, I have 0 debt of any kind, my family travels every year and the banks kiss my ass every time I walk in. Take my advice and leave this dunya alone, especially the home ownership part. Enjoy your life and don't tie yourself down to a home.

    Assalamualaikum,
Alhamdulillah, it's good to hear what is in store for us in Jannah.
Question is, how do we provide a place for our family now that we're living in this world? We do need shelter and privacy for our family. Reality is, we all have to pay for houses. Not every Muslims were born rich. If there's free houses for everyone, that will be a dream. No need to work and can focus more time on building houses in Jannah.
If we all can sleep in Mesjids, even better. But realistically, that's not practical. So how do we really solve this issue about providing shelter and privacy for our family in this Dunya?
It would be great for someone with knowledge to answer this. At this stage, I'm renting a room, I'm saving to purchase a house. It will take a while. I do have a family, but all can't fit in a room. Is this the way it should be to be these days? In order to stay away from Riba'? Or are there any solutions to help future generations from getting sucked into the system?

      Assalamualikum w.w
First of all the money you are saving, you can spend that and take 2 bedrooms instead of one. And keep tawakkul on Allah that if he increases your family he will increase your wealth. This happened to me alhumdulillah we rented 2 bedroom house now with 3 kids.
2nd say alhumdulillah that atleast Allah doesnt leave you without any shelter atleast he provide you a shelter .
3rd dont think about the house and property of next generation in this world this is stupidity. You can die anytime before them. Teach them islam so they can be a sadqa e jariya for you when you are in grave and begging yourself for some good things. At that time your pious children will the one who can help you.
4 if you ever leave anything for the sake of Allah he will grant you something better thn tha even it coutd be sukoon in your heart peace in your heart. And that is the best fruit for a human being.
People are visiting drs. Psychologist for the peace of heart but we can easily have it.
May allah bless you. Forget about house right now just pray Allah that he will make any possibility and spend your life happily

This is really very nice brother but you did not address the real question for millions of Muslims in the world, this dunya is a way for us to akhira so we need to live in it and enjoy the pleasure in it according to the sharia.

Please clarify! As a Sunni (Hanafi madhab) we pray 2 Rakat before Fajr, 4 rakats befor Zuhr and 2 rakats after Zuhr, 2 rakats after Magrib and 2 rakats after Isha And it's called Sunnah prayers. Are you talking about this Sunnah prayers or besides thess we should pray 12 times?

    • @zaq787
      @zaq787 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

You just pray what you mentioned 2 before Fajr, 4 before and 2 after Zuhr, 2 After Maghrib, 2 after Isha which makes 12 Sunnah rakas. And make you 100% house in Jannah. What an investment which is the bought by time. Time is the currency is here also your niyyat, correct wudu, taharat, heart, time, way of prayer is required.

I did a math course and there were calculations about mortgages and the sort. I was surprised as to what was entailed. Even if interest is allowed, i will not buy a house. You end up paying double the price by the time you finish paying for the house.

Mashallah I totally agree that our priority should most definitely be the hereafter.
However I find it disappointing that we as Muslims cannot find solutions to our problems in a practical way, as was the example of the prophet Muhammad (saw) for example when a poor person asked him(saw) for some of the wealth that Allah(swt) has given him(saw) he(saw) asked the sahaba to give him some wealth, i.e. he (saw) did not just lecture him.
And this was the example of the early Muslims and this is how islamic flourished and people entered it in multiple numbers.

My mother spent most of her life living in rented houses, but somehow some women think its imperative to buy a house via the mortgage system. I have also bought a house via the mortgage system and I pray that Allah Subhanatallah forgives me for my sin. But in the west there is no such thing as a halal method of buying a house for the average muslim.

To own property is a good thing. The Muslims need to find a solution to enable ownership by cooperatives. If someone owns their home they will increase their wealth and give to their children after them. They will have more wealth to do more good. Of course we seek homes in Jennah but we live in this reality until we die.

if u can afford to buy a house with ur own money thats the best way or if u don't the full amount of money for buying a house then u can ask someone for a loan without interest 0 interest and not someone else buying the house and resales it to u for a high price it doesn't work so if u don't have the full amount of money for buying a house and also no 1 gives u a loan with zero interest then the only option out there is to migrate and a true muslim is prepared to live anywhere city or village or mountain anywhere but not in harram a true muslim can not live in harram and especially living in the west today is very very hard to avoid harram the best option is to migrate somewhere cheap and less posh brothers and sisters. ya Allah guide us all to ur straight path aameen

I thought in Janna you can ask for whatever you want in whatever quantity. I know this Hadeeth is valid, but Allah subhanaho wa ta'ala said:
"لهم ما يشاؤون فيها و لدينا مزيد"
Meaning they shall have whatever they want and We have more. So what's the difference between this particular house in Janna that resulted from the 12 rakas and the one that you ask for in Janna?

I’m not sure why people are getting so mad. Is this because the sheikh was not able to provide a fatwa stating the riba is halal? I get people want to buy a house but there’s no need to be getting vexed over a really important reminder - and reminders benefit the believer. So many Muslims neglect the sunnah yet they want all the treasures of this world and the next. That’s something to reflect upon.

I am still perplexed about Riba. Is it, as according to the Quran, and if I understood correctly, that is when one borrows the money and the creditor asks for double the re-payment and/or he multiplies that 3x, 4x and so on, like a loan shark? Thanks for any insight and your post, respectable Dr Haddad.
