I’m so grateful to have found someone who cooks one meal at a time. Most recipes are for family size, and I don’t want to make that much of a single recipe. Thanks again!
I became a widow a year ago it’s hard cooking for one, I came across your recipes on Pinterest I can wait to make all 5 of them, I just bought a 2 quart crockpot last week. Thank you can’t wait to see more one person recipes
I'm saving this video to my personal list. You gave so many ideas on what and how to store meals for future use. Plus, I thought of some things I like eating repetitively. You're a jewel. Thanks for your help.
TLDR: this product is great at cooking meat, (tested with chicken) First off, I usually don’t comment on vids, but due to the controversy of this crock pot I had to weigh in. I got this mini crockpot on Amazon a few days ago. Thought I saw that it was ok to cook but the manual states otherwise, that it’s just a warmer. BUT this vid gave me hope. I tested it out at work the other day and bada bing bada boom perfectly cooked chicken. Great vid and already bought some ingredients to test out the recipes.
I just bought one of these for work to reheat my food, but never actually cooked in them. Now that I found your recipes, I’m definitely going to try making fresh food at work instead of reheating my leftovers. Thanks for sharing. One thing I wish you had added was to see the food turned out after sharing your recipes. I guess I’ll have to try them out myself to actually see how it turns out.
I appreciate that you didn't show cutting veggies so slowly. I really liked the method you used to speed it up. Since we know how to cut things, it was great to see. Thanks.
This video was great! Not only were the recipes good and relevant to this specific food warmer, but the ingredients all synergize well together! I would LOVE to see more videos like this. I hope you revisit this topic, and perhaps launch a playlist of small food warmer recipes.
My whole world of mini crockpot just exploded with new ideas and anticipation from your video!! Thank you this is so helpful! I have two mini crockpots on the way as my other one is a bit too big now it’s just me and my family are raised. 💕
This is very helpful. I’ve been searching for single person meal prep, and it was very grateful when I found your channel thank you thank you thank you.
New subscriber here. You Tube sent me this. I am absolutely blown away by how good this video is! 😊👍 I am an empty nester, 59, and I still cook for my single son, 22, who is feeling the pinch of inflated restaurant and grocery prices. You have just helped me solved my meal prep confusion and have made my life way easier. I have only cooked for my large family in the past. I love your healthy recipes and your straifht to the point narration and editing skills. I wish you all the best. Thank you! and greetings from Vermont. 🥰
This looks really cool! I’ve toyed with getting that mini crockpot; now that I’ve found your recipes (freezer ones at that - YAY!) I really want this now. Thanks so much! Hope to see some more freezer meals from you for this mini crockpot. 👍🏻 (And thanks to your hubby for ‘taking one for the team’ and sampling all of these recipes. 😉)
Hey just got one of these todays and you maybe if not one of only/few reviewers of this amazing item but as well the only person I’ve seen with this kind of content for this beautiful baby I’m really hoping you do more videos and amazing recipes like these this was soooooo helpful not only for me but for so many I’m sure keep it you you rock and make it simple to be a single man lol thank you
To save on plastic and money, you can buy a silicone bags or silicone freezer storing containers. They sre pricey at firsy but over time you can save money and having to toss less of those bags out into a dump.
So happy I found this personal crockpot at local Goodwill for $2.99!! Will try to make some interesting food and bring them to school as my high school child lunch!! 😘😘
I just seen your video. I love this crock pot meals for one. My father in-law is 84 and still lives alone. These will be perfect for me to make up for him and he can just throw these into a small crock pot and have a cook dinner. How do you turn recipes into one pot meals? I would love to see many many more of these. Are you still making TH-cam video's?
Loved watching you pick all your one serving meals and then assembling them. Great video, glad I found your channel! Husband and I have very different eating styles so I oftentimes make single size servings for Van road trips and Motorcoach travel days.
I was excited to make some of these...did the porkchops. Oh dear was that ever spicy!! Next time I would definitely reduce the amountbof smoked paprika. 🤯🤯😳
Thank you for this video. I plan to put some of these in the freezer to cook when I don't feel like cooking. I appreciate this isn't just freezing leftovers.
So cute. I need a little pink one for my office when I go back to work. I'd love to have a hot lunch every day. You prepped a lot of mini meals. Love this. Gianni is set for another month... lol
i just came across your channel and really glad i did. its only me and alot of receipes are way too much plus i dont have alot of freezer space but with doing this i cant wait to start some, so thank you
Hi Claire. So glad your surgery went well. Hope you heal quickly and are not to sore. These solo meals are Awesome. What a great idea. I like all the recipes. Take it easy and stay safe.
Hi! Not sure if you mentioned for all or just some of the meals, but do you cook all the meals for 3 hours or do some of the meals require different times?
This is really interesting. I use mine to heat soup or stew, various pre-cooked items. I know it gets up to quite a temperature, but hadn’t even considered trying to ‘cook’ something. I have a food thermometer so will be able to check it is done. Are your stated cooking times from frozen, or did you defrost them first?
So I like to store them flat in the bags and then I run them under hot water to soften them up. They aren’t totally thawed but not solid frozen either. Definitely use a thermometer just in case but this baby gets HOT and we’ve never had an uncooked piece of meat after a few hours!
Hi! I help out a lot of 'singles' and like to do meal prep for them. LOVE LOVE LOVE these single serving meal prep ideas of yours!! I look forward to it/when you post more like this!!
@@ClaireRisper My boyfriend used to be an over-the-road truck driver. Raw meats? Unlike a normal Crock Pot, the manual says it doesn’t get hot enough to safely cook meat. I’m inclined to agree since I’ve comfortably enjoyed soups from mine while fully warm and plugged in. I would strongly caution against that. I’m mostly here to see if anyone else is complaining about how the inner lid only seals when warm even though you are supposed to use it for transporting the inner food container between home and your mini Crock Pot at work. It obviously can’t work for that if it can’t contain the foods. As I recall, the lid fit well until the first time it was heated making me believe you weren’t supposed to get it hot. I checked the manual and it tells you to always have the inner and outer lid in place when heating. Even tells you to expect the inner lid to pop off as the food heats.
I found this video and it is everything i was looking for. But i just have one question. Arent these crock pots just meant for warming up food? Does it get hot enough to cook?
Technically these crockpots are for warming, however I find they run quite hot and they easily cook my meat all the way through. Use a thermometer just in case!

great idea to do for a hot lunch in the winter. You should cut all the meat up at once so you are not cross contaminating. More than once you touched raw meat then the outside of the bag or a seasoning.

My understanding is that this only warms the food, not cooks it. I have one and for safety and per the instructions only cooked food should be used in it. I love mine and cook and put it in individual liners, but I am unable to find new liners for the warmer.
It cooks it well done if you leave it in for a long time. I used a thermometer to ensure it came to safe eating temperatures. It exceeded 165 on the chicken in three hours
All the reviews call this a warmer and don't show it working like a regular crock pot. I'm about to order and really need to know if I leave it on for 4 hours will it cook my food? And no one says whether you leave the silicone seal on it while cooking
Sorry to get back to you so late, I cook them the same as a traditional slow cooker. About 4 hours for frozen meat! Always check your temp to be safe :)

In my experience, the chicken has always temped out easily in this cooker. If you use common sense and a thermometer you can use this safely. Alternatively, if it makes you more comfortable you can absolutely pre-cook your chicken!
Yep! We have used it many times and she runs pretty hot, more like the high setting on a regular crock pot. Always check your food temp to be safe! Each time it's cooked like a traditional slow cooker, the meat just breaks right apart :)

What's the freezer lifespan for these?
I have a deep freezer so I can keep mine for up to a year, but depending on how you store them I would say try to use them within a couple months!
I have so many questions. Do you pull a meal out the night before to defrost it? Is the freezer bag used as a liner?
I run the bags under warm water to slightly loosen the contents. I do not use liners. I store the bags flat in the freezer to make this quicker.
I miss my Cutco knives..I sold Cutco for many years and had a very large collection of all Cutco items..do you squeeze all of the air out of your bags before you freeze them?
I got my knife as a gift and I LOVE it! Yes, I lay the bags flat and push the air out so I can easily stack them in the freezer!
Can I ask a stupid question. Can you cook these directly from the freezer? Or does it have to be thawed first? Loving this channel!

I’m sure each one of those meals have different settings and times. It’s cool you have the meal ideas but you left out all the details we needed. I’m sure each meat takes different times etc.
You kinda left us to figure it out after you showed us various meals to prep
Awesome
Wow I’ve just found you your awesome ..what a great idea xx
Thank you so much. 😭😭😭😭
Thank you
I thought the small lunch crock was for warming and not cooking? It doesn’t get super hot.
I’m curious on how you are cooking the mini meals in the lunch crockpot? The directions say not to put raw meat in the lunch crockpot.
In my experience, the chicken has always temped out easily in this cooker. If you use common sense and a thermometer you can use this safely. Alternatively, if it makes you more comfortable you can absolutely pre-cook your chicken!
Do you have more videos with mini crock pot freezer meals
Does the crockpot auto shuts off?
No, it stays on
I just have a quick question about the crockpot I know that referred to as a food warmer but can it actually COOK like a slow cooker
Yep! We have used it many times and she runs pretty hot, more like the high setting on a regular crock pot. Always check your food temp to be safe! Each time it's cooked like a traditional slow cooker, the meat just breaks right apart :)
