    One thing about making a pond, it makes a great borrow pit for job like this one. Of course you need the right soil. You have been lucky at this job. It will be nice to see the full dam being finished. The owner may even like your raised road, foregoing the bridge. One can never tell what the customer will finally decide. Builders and programmers know this from experience.. Thanks for more great video.

    This is a cool project as we watch Chris demonstrate his mastery. At the same time, I am convinced many are watching and thinking, "It is great to have money to play around with." Some may think, "More money than brains," Others may think, "Money to burn, etc."

    For the heat/AC in that cab, visit a place that sells lawnmower parts. You can get a universal cable with a lever that you could install to control the heat. Might cost 20 bucks and a 1/2 hour.

    I wish I was where you are with the AC on about that time of day, my tractors been running an hour to warm the cab up to do chores in -30oc the last while here in Canada . I'm finding lots of those heater controls are messed up and expensive when they leak heat through on tractors. When I say the proper part cost and suggest it, lots of guys just say cut the lines and put 2 ball valve shut off taps in the lines to the heater core. A few bucks in the hardware store and the problem goes away, lots of guys say the AC works better than when it was new after. It's just a shame on that truck it's a pain to lift the hood to get at the lines if you put taps in.
    I'm sure Timmy will be fine while you are away unless he has to undo drain plugs L.O.L. Your uncle seems to find his own trouble every time you go away, so you know that won't be a surprise. Hope you enjoy your Holiday, see ya when you return. Take care

    Sounds alot like people up here had a steel bridge put over there 2 acre pond . Then they stone faced it. The bridge could hold triaxel truck, trailer and excavator . It was so they could have other side of pond worked on i guess. Seemed to have endless moneys to spend. Nice job for you.

    • @super6954
      @super6954 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think he's working on a long weekend getaway place for Bill Gates, with what that job must be costing for just the pond without the house cost. Then they just decide to add a 40ft bridge just like that. It really makes me wonder when I see these house buying shows, how some of these guys get all this money to spend.

    I was thinking, doesn't that Volvo have a power port myself.

    • @TrevorDennis100
      @TrevorDennis100 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It has electronics, so it would surely have provision to update firmware, profiles etc. But it sounds like Volvo are protective about this stuff, so instead of a nice useful USB port, it likely has a proprietary port similar to modern motor vehicles. You can buy USB sockets powered by 12Vdc. I have a double USB socket right above my truck's interior light so I don't need cables hanging down the screen to power the dash cam and GPS. It cost me NZ$15. Otherwise, I wonder if it has a cigarette lighter?

    I once worked on a new construction house and that guy was hyper paranoid about security and he had a moat built around his house and yard! Only way it was the driveway and he had cameras in trees and sensors in the ground so a doorbell ring sounded when someone was 100 feet away and 500 feet away. The moat was 50 feet wide and a couple thousand feet long. Crazy dude!
