The Foretellers were using Hank to get past Sora so that they could lure out Yozora since he has a way to access his own universe which is filled with nothing but DARKNESS that can be weaponized.
They did this because they know Yozora's true appearance (his known appearance wasn't the true one) actually looks like Sora and his real body succumbed to the DARKNESS.

I think what 358/2 Days means is that it's Roxas' story of what happened with happened with for 358 over the 2 adventures of Sora and Riku. Or maybe it refers to Roxas and Xion in some way. Only papa Nomura knows.

The title '358/2 days' is meant to be read as 'three five eight days over two'. Which in turn was suppose to be paraphrased and reinterpreted as 'the year between the 2'
It was suppose to cover the last year spent with the organization's two newest members. But they made it so flowery and like an inside joke, no one got it.
I only know because Nomura only revealed the answer one time, in one interview. But soon, that knowledge will be lost to time :
I felt like it was a super convoluted story about how roxas came to be, and why he was associated with the organization in the first place

Sora is asleep for a year, during that year Roxas exist. In KH2 the prologue is the last week of Roxas' life, so the number 358 comes from the rest of the days in that year 365 - 7 = 358. The over two part is because we follow Roxas and Xion both of which are tied to Sora.
