Pretty sweet! I burned out on RC years ago with a losi LST and LST2. They were bad ass but You get addicted to upgrade parts, it just makes another weaker or causes more wear. Chased my tail constantly and spent way too much money. 15 years later I want an X maxx to leave as bone stock as possible!
Even with bad lighting still a handsome brute ....location from hell for the X-Maxx it's like a dirt skate park ... I kind of like the short rustic worn out look of the body on it now 🤣🤣🤣

I was doing a speed run the other day and as it went past me and I turned, thats when I saw the guy on the bike.. getting out the way fast lol.. Would't have hit him but can see why he was scared as Kraton is a big heavy thing to be flying towards you at 91kph/56mph

@@MatthewSimm I got the same motor in one of my xmaxxs…also have the Max6…mines held up pretty good…the 4985 motor isn’t technically rated for 8s (only up to 6s) but I’ve been running mine basically exclusively on 8s since installing it. I do have a pretty large fan mounted on top of the motor…but no heat issues and it definitely doesn’t lack power either

Use the 1650kv at your own risk in the xmaxx on 8s. I use stock gearing and it flys haha, also I use the xmaxx heat sink with two powerful fans and so far, it holds up really well

Proline trencher and I'd recommend the max5 and 1100kv combo!

why have you stopped using this setup? it seem to ran perfectly fine and it was definitely the fastest and most torque. so why go to 1100?
It definitely runs great, however, you cannot gear it up much and it does lack a little torque compared to the 1100kv.
Also, I live in a very hot climate and this setup does get a bit hot, so having that bigger motor would be better for keeping the temps down
So the 1650kv motor can handle 8s even tho it says 6s rated

Xmaxx for me dude, atleast out of the box, although maybe the Outcast for people that love to throw in crazy systems haha as the xmaxx can be a bit of a paint to fit bigger motors and escs
