Wow. A modern cover of one of the most underappreciated video game soundtracks ever, by the original artist? I feel extremely lucky for getting to hear this. Thanks for the upload.
This is truly astounding to find. I take it an official OST was finally released back in 2016? Man that took so long for this incredible soundtrack to make it there...
@@PKSkyler It looks like the owners of the IP are a company called City Connection who often specializes in retro games. Their parent company is DoubleL Inc. So while possible, unless someone comes up to them and goes "Hey, remember that game Dragonseeds with the amazing music? Yeah we wanna make a game in that universe." I doubt we'll see anything more.
I actually like this, but the first 30sec (and its repeat) was a let down. Firstly because that first 30sec was rather unfamiliar. And Secondly and more importantly that part was replacement of the original noisy/talkative announcer in original version. I do get that some who liked the original complained about that announcer, but I disagree with them because that announcer do fits well with the game atmosphere. Why? Some of you asks? The announcer remind me of combative ring sport such as Pro-Wrestling, Boxing or MMA, on those there always official commentator that will hype up the audiences. Indeed the announcer in original version doing something similar, hyping up the audience about the ensuing battle between Dragons! Digressing aside, I do realize that original announcer would not fit into the arranged version, but in lack of those hyping-ups, its replacement was 'non-descript voice'.

Dang, now *this* is one hell of a find. Underrated classic got an arrangement over half a decade ago and I didn't even know.
Sounds fantastic!
I am so glad they made it, this soundtrack is a masterpiece.
Now if only the whole game was remade.
One can hope...
No need. Original is perfect.

What's even weirder is Jaleco was already dissolved back in 2014
@@TheRealSpiderMew It really makes me curious as to who even owns Dragonseeds a this point.
@@legionbeast Whoever owns it really should try making a sequel.
