The cannonical reason as to why V2 loses to V1 is that V1 has more experience. This shows just how vast that gap could theoretically be. Imagine trying to kill someone with all of your being, and they literally are more concerned with flying around on a rocket than actually putting in effort to kill you

It’s called enemy hopping. If you whiplash an enemy and jump at the right time you bounce off of them and regain your wall jumps/rocket fuel
