I never would have thought of parrying the projectiles from the strays spawned during the -Minotaur- fight as a damage option, and the same goes to getting the 1000-THR defence system to laser it’s own turrets. It’s not just skill and editing quality that’s going in to these no-hits, it’s creativity as well!
i figured out the laser friendly fire thing accidentally myself, although it's not very impactful without a self-imposed challenge like this. Regular weapon usage burns the boss down too fast
I thought parrying any kind of projectile towards the enemy you want to kill was normal
I audibly said "no!" when the first stray died from the minotaur, he was just being a helpful fella
damn, you even did the escape sequence with the challenge

i wasn't gonna at first but then guttertank got nerfed so hakita kinda forced my hand there, I think it turned out pretty cool but I have lost a part of myself from doing both the core and the escape in one take

I absolutely ADORE the Outro and how at this point,the 7th layer’s Essence is powerful enough to mess with V1’s directives and edit the text-from “Violence-powerless” to “Violence-Eternally Everpresent”.This once more proves the amount of Effort put into this Video,hence,my Gratitude to the Creator for this Amazing video!
The editing is so satisfying to watch! Opening sequence is nice, and the second minotaur fight, V1 feels like it really got jumpscared. That transition from 7-3 to 7-4 is also just amazing.
That final 7-4 arena was so stressful to watch. Damn.
it was stressful to play, out of all the attempts for that sequence that was the one where the most things went wrong but by some divine odds i managed
rip that one stray that helped get minotaur to about 30% health

You don't really need a stray to beat the "mintaur" fist only, You can also grapple onto him and punch him in husa stomach,or atleast that was my strat

God i can only imagine how many attempts Big Johninator took
i hate that the joke boss was legitimately the hardest one for this challenge, it took longer than i’m willing to admit, still easier than leviathan in a reasonable amount of cycles
@@Step1adder I have done punch only challenge too (was inspired by you i suppose). Minos's tonnele hand and first gabriel were my doom... Didnt even try Johniator and Syshiphus.
Also great editing! The most qualityful ULTRA video I have seen.
@@user-um7jt5yb3ithe Minos tunnel hand is surprisingly easy, the hand literally shows you what move its going to do next.
For Gabriel well it varies considering the teleportation and bs melee attack he does

glad you like it, the dubious second option was to do the entire level in one take without taking damage
GOD that -Metroid- escape segment was stressful, yet you somehow managed to pull it off! Love how V1 has genuine process of thought like trying to make the train go faster when Minotaur first appears or immediatly trying to go up the Earthmover when inside, only later realizing the Idols block the path. And that transition into the Earthmover fight was actually smart, V1 could very well easily progress as normal but it CHOOSES to fight the Earthmover, and you showed that perfectly.
Especially that ending to the Earthmover, barely any time left to escape, the actual Earthmover exploding in the background matches with V1 escaping on the map, just fucking fantastic.
Great editing, stylish gameplay and just amazing details over all, good damn job!

you’re entirely right about all of this but I’d like to mention that v1 trying to make the train go faster was something I made up on the spot so I could hide the transition from the minotaur intro to the actual fight
(otherwise I would of had to restart the entire level for every attempt)

I always love the minimap thing you do with moving in between bosses. I especially loved the transition from 7-3 to 7-4, and the progression up the different stages of the Earthmover
Minotaur getting 2 crosses on its deaths was somehow funny for me
Your editing is so smooth as your gameplay. Im amazed not only by your skills in-game but the quality of the work is top notch. Especially I want to point out the arena fight after "Brain". You made that fight as stressful and as dangerous like it should've been, down to the last second escape. Keep up the work, your are majestic
thank you but i would like to point out that i did not intentionally make the escape sequence stressful i was legitimately fighting for my life, some of the takes went well during that fight this was not one of them (worked out though)
The fact that the M̶i̶n̶o̶t̶a̶u̶r̶ took only 3 hits in his second encounter made it look like a retro boss fight.
minotaur is so baby i love him, i think the half health is supposed to help imply a second phase but it makes him die immediately without accomplishing anything

the part at the end where you narrowly avoid the guttertanks punch and dodge the mines as they go off is so cool, great video ! :)
the editing you do between bosses is really cool! a small mistake though: at the end it says "this is the only way it should of ended", but "should of" isn't grammatically correct. the phrase is "should HAVE", and people only think it's "should of" because they misheard "should've"

Your last fist only video is absolute gold, I wouldn’t have guessed that you’d make another, but this is absolutely incredible.
The editing, gameplay, and sequencing of clips are all the best I’ve seen in the ultrakill community. I especially love that moment where the bull busts through the wall and suddenly cuts to gameplay--reminds me of the start of the Gabriel 2 fight from your last fist only hitless video. You’ve really got some amazing skills here.
Side note: I need to get better at editing and, given how incredible your editing is, do you have any tips?

This is criminally underrated, and I don't say that lightly, from the surprise of the minatour, to the almost comedically placed timing of the explosion, It's wild that this isn't seeing more recognition then it does.
I don't know the context of any of these bosses and yet I still find this awesome. Great editing, great skill, and most of all, entertaining as hell.

while i want to stick to the challenge as much as possible gutterman feedbacker only is the goofiest silliest thing that wouldn’t of been very fun to watch, i decided one exception for the pacing would be better than halfway through violence watching v1 slapbox heavy from team fortress 2 for 5 minutes

Damn the earthmover core fight looked good. I bet it was intended to be played only with a feedbacker
it definitley wasnt lol, first off for the obvious reason of them wanting you to use variety in your arsenal, but mostly because i believe on standard difficulty (the difficulty most people play on), it only starts shooting projectiles half way through the fight (or maybe it used to be like that and it got changed) cuz i did it fist only a couple weeks ago and it took me like 15 minutes because the only way i could do dmg was by using the knuckleblasters shockwave at certain angles
bro woke up and decided to beat the shit out of the bosses by hand what a legend

The escape sequence was the most frustrating to watch for me,i can see the amount of struggle it took to defeat the enemies without getting damaged and escaping at almost the last second.
ngl, if you can just use your fists in ultrakill, one would shutter to imagine how terrifying your skill would be with a gun.
do the same challenge but without parrying enemies projectiles to damage bosses :)

You used Ground Slams for damage which means you used your feet.
if you could de equip v1’s feet i would agree but since its part of the moveset i allow it, if you accidentally damage an enemy that way and have to restart it would be kinda nonsense

nah dw when he isnt using an arm he puts it in place of his legs, so he was using the feedbacker and had the knuckleblaster and whiplash as his legs (source: trust me)
