Hi I'm in RSA .You don't blow the gunky diesel out of the filter housing.

What size it the fuel filter housing bolt on the hdi? One of mine is missing and been replaced with another bolt with 5 washers (making up the space, as screw/bolt is too long) cheers

I can't remember, best bet is to take one of the bolts with you to a DIY shop and match them up 😊

Really wouldn't bother with the K&N. It doesn't increase power, it doesn't filter properly, it doesn't save fuel, it's a pain to clean... just stick a half decent paper filter in and call it a day. 👌👌👍👍 OEM supplier is usually Purflux but recently oil filters are by Mann, fuel is by Meca and air filter is unknown. Sergiu Gabor on TH-cam did his tests and Purflux seemed to come out on top.

For the oil filter you dont need any special tool, just tako a normal fork wrench, with on the other end ruund shape, and take that wrench, and cut it in half, and use that round side, you even dont need to take of anything that you have take to remove oil filter.

Or just buy the correct tool for the job as shown in his video instead of butchering something else for it to do the same thing and prevent the damage to the filter housing which is also shown in the video.
I do wish he'd use either a proper screwdriver or prying tool though!!!

@@peteracton59 You cant damage anything, cut of the right wrench that cost few buks, and done, that special wrench that you will buy is not sience rocket, just angled wrench.
