Good work. And interesting to see some things that's been done on mine at a garage (like Dpf replacement). I think mine had dodgy Mots before I bought it. Plenty wrong with it but the previous owners Mots showed nothing bad.
Thanks so much for your kind comment, I totally agree , I think there has been a massive crackdown on MOT fraud lately so hopefully this will end soon 🙏🏼
@@CarFlix. I bought mine in 2015 with 12K miles on it for 18K. Now it has 66K miles and I would like to think it's definitely worth at least 6K :D; mint condition
@@CarFlix. No matter, its not like I would be planning of selling it anyway. You would have to offer me at least ridiculous 20K, which would just make me think about it, but still wouldn't guarantee I would sell mine since its in a mint condition and in unique spec that you never see (in a pearl white with black side mirrors and silver wheels), which I personally think looks the best of them all :D. So its not like I could go buy yours for 4K and keep the rest 16K and call it a good day :D; it wouldn't be the same, i simply love mine. It's irreplaceable. - which already gave me a nightmare or two of me dreaming about totalling the car in some way. Plus, so far I had 0 issues with it. All I had to do is to change tires as required and replace windshield sweepers once, and replace front disks once. that is it. I had stupid curb incident this year that broke my right back spring, but that is on me. (and the spring was £40) I take care of my car and it never let me down in almost 10y now. The only recommendations on MOT ever were occasional - your tires look thin and brakes disc at the front. nothing else. If I ever would get seriously rich, this would still be my daily. It's perfect. Enough performance if needed, but very pleasant confident ride at a minimum fuel economy with more than big enough boot for even longer road trips (which I do to Europe to crank out 5k miles each time at the very least). Not to mention I do 800 miles on a tank on average meaning you don't need to even stop every day for fuel on long trip, nor worry about where can you have the next fuel for how much. And I still get complimented on my car every now and then, because frankly, it's absolutely gorgeous when its clean and looks brand new. 10 years later it still makes me smile just seeing it sitting pretty in my drive. Am I in love? I think i am :D
What is the point of having a comment section if you delete all the comments you don't like. I wanted to write my opinion on all the work you did, but i think it is pointless... this car is in terrible condition before and after. Rusty bucket bodged up on budget. Well done for you to take it on the chin and be willing to do everything, but that's the only positive here. You can't say you didn't see any of those issues while having the wheels off??? MOT place was able to spot it with wheels on. Spraying rusty parts is not resolving the problem, or leaving a snaped bolt and cutting spring is solution, this is just leaving problems for the next person. Im not dissing your work, I'm diy guy myself and do everything on my 2011 RCZ, but my head would allow me to leave the car in this state. This is not restoring, but diy'it just to pass the MOT, but that's how 99% of people look after their cars in this country...
I agree,i would probably kill myself with all that rust😂 Mine is 2013 and has no ruat below, ihave spend 10.000€ on my Rcz to be in best shape. But hi is seling that car,so he doesent need to be in tip top shape, and you think thqt someone if he did all that, would pay that work,i dont think so. But still nice job.
Well done bringing the old girl back to being a lovely-looking roadworthy RCZ once again.. Great video 👍
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it 🙏🏼😊
if i lived in the uk instead of sweden, i'd buy tis car in a heart beat, great video!

Good video. The canned music is a distraction though, not needed.
Thanks Paul, I appreciate the feedback, I'll tame the music in future videos ☺️
When removing thr spring. Dont aim it at your crown jewels...had to close my eyes, thought you might loose your meat and two veg..🤣🤣 nice job though.
🤣 , thanks for the tip didnt even realise until you pointed it out 🤣
Under 4K? What a bargain!
That's what I think too 😊, I bought mine a few years ago for £6200 with similar mileage

@@TomikCsvk I sure it will be, but who would know in today's market 😁

Just a tip for you don’t undo coil springs between your legs 😂especially if you’re planning on having kids 😂
You are so right , doh!
are you sure this car has a low-milage. It looks very very rusty.
I believe it may have been a seaside town car at some point in its life unfortunately
