Just released the first patch which fixes a bunch of minor issues and adds a couple parts for the GS300 (and finally different engine sounds !!!!) You can download it here: nfsmods.xyz/mod/5196 This update requires NFSU2 Car Sound Tuner unlike previous versions If you find any bugs/issues (with so many parts there's no way I can test everything) message me on discord: moses1738 also prelude development is going smoothly
@@sanderhackerhd8369nah fr like bro if You really wanna add an exotic/super car badly then make it PERIOD APPROPRIATE I don’t wanna see a freaking Huracan here 😂 I’m good with a Countach though!!
You really nailed the overall early 2000s editing style! Reminds me those short clips on flash sites like GTA III/VC/SA, Midnight Club II/III and more...
the fact that these cars have body kits from the vanilla games themselves, really shows the attention to detail of the mod. god that lexus is fucking sexy
wow, i have not kept an eye on nfs modding for soooo long but like everyone's pointed out it's great to see something vanilla styled. took me a minute to realize you actually made these models, the attention to detail is really special. i always thought that people putting newer game models looked so jarring. seeing there is an audience for something like this exists is so motivating to actually try learning myself. keep up the great work man. i would drop you a few bucks if you had a ko-fi for donations or something, imo u should consider that at some point. i know this takes effort
cingular sms rachael: wooooooah, that is a seriously sweet ride! i don't know who you impressed to get your hands on one of those, but they're not even available in this entire side of the world. you'll be the envy of every racer you face in that thing. nice job!
Would love to see a pack of wagons, say Lexus IS Sporcross, Subaru Legacy either 4th or 2nd generation(gran turismo has models for them that could work as a base), 1999-2001 Honda Accord SiR and maybe something european too like Audi A4/S4 or BMW e46 3/e39 5 Series touring.
Definitely I gotta try this one whenever I replay NSFU2 Lore-accurate car mods are great, and your cars look fantastics as if they were from the official game. Pretty nice, looking forward to future projects 👍
4:3 aspect ratio, 2000s media compression, Banging EA trax instrumentals, dead on accurate EA marketing and on screen graphics with high octane action scenes and cuts like it’s 2004 all over again. Bravo! Amazing
Dude your car mods are litteraly one of my dreams I usually don't like car mods in NFSU2 because people often make them too polished with visible interior and shit and it just doesn't fit the game, also the cars are often not tuneable. The only mod that was somewhat like yours was Olympic Imports and it wasn't 100% complete. But your mods are just... Perfect, and the fact we can add cars to the game directly instead of replacing some is also a huge step. If you could finish that Corvette in the Rejects video i would be amazed. But i'm also aware it must take a lot of time to model every parts and all. Still, keep going !
For almost a year now, I have been working on cinematic editing skills and I think that after finishing a project called "NFS Underground 20 Years Anniversary" it seems that I will also start Underground 2 using these mods. And that Underground 2 will be 20 years old on November 9.
@@powerfulpants The FX45 was definitely the fitting choice for the game to be honest. Better than the Hummer H2… Plus, it’s by a brand (Infiniti) that already exists in Underground 2. Brands that weren’t in the game originally are kinda out of place…
@@powerfulpants Exactly! I prefer it that way. Like you said, it’s more realistic! Feels like an actual DLC / Update. By the way, how long does it take for you to create a complete car like the ones in this video?
@@Kev27RS As of now if I had to average all 3 cars together it would be around 6 to 9 months to finish a car BUT a lot of that time is me taking a break (lost motivation/busy with life) so I think if I worked on one of these cars like a real job it would take about a month
it's shocking to think that of the 142 games published by EA, only about 10 of them are actually good (and 8 of those 10 games was made over 10years ago)
OUCH! That is seriously weak, dude! (I know-I know, wrong game, but it's the only joke that came to mind 🙂) Whoever did the trailer, really nailed the vibe. Nicely done! 😎👍
Its crazy to me that so many cars were missing in UG2, from the S14 (240SX), CRX, EG Hatch, EK Hatch including the other caes that were included and removed last minute. Imagine if EA wasn't churning out a game a year and actually did some proper DLC for UG2.
Sorry if I'm bothering you, but wouldn't you have plans to bring more cars to this game or the others in the franchise, its level of detail is impressive, it really looks like it came from someone who worked on the game during its development, man congratulations, your work it's incredible.
Love these, they fit so well within the game, it’s like they’re from the official car list. One minor annoyance though, they all have the same Civic sound? Is it possible to change them, like for example change the Lexus to have the IS300 engine sounds and the Infiniti to have the SUV ones? That shit would be much appreciated if it ain’t much work, other than that, totally sick!
There is a way to change the sounds, but the reason they all share the same sound is because I haven't learned how to edit car sounds yet so they all default to the same sound, but I'll definitely fix that in the future

why can not we have GS430 with the V8 engine :D IS300 is already there :P but looks amazing.
It looks like an official DLC released in 2004. I always wanted to see what more tuner cars would be like in the NFSU2 lore. Congratulations!
Even the video looks like a trailer from 2004
I ALWAYS approve period-correct mods 👍
Yes!
Period correct only!
No modern day cars and mods.

not only is this mod incredibly well made but what a sick trailer
For a few seconds I thought it was a 2004 video with content cut from a DLC 😍😍😍😍😍
top 10 beloto moments. salve.

what?... DLC didnt exist in 6th gen...
Actually looks like this came out 20 years ago, and the cars fit so well into the vanilla game, amazing work!
Love to see people still modding these gems
don't stop what you are doing ... vanilla friendly cars , og style video ... best recipe .
Holy shit even all the shaders and the way it's modeled is consistent. Fantastic work.
