Todd - Excellent Video. I did the same to my saw with a slightly different twist as follows : To avoid the long screw and a lot of revolutions . I have a couple of steel spacers the height of the solid Jaw . I also put a crank on the end of the screw for speed and convenience . Again - Excellent Video -- Jim
This works good for me. First seen while building truck bodies. Always forgot to bring a wrench, so I just left one with the saw. Then it became great. Happy New Year!
Hey, great tip bud! The way you held that nut in your chuck was sketchy to say the least, but a great tip none the less! Almost over 1000 subscribers so expecting better video soon lol! Keep it up, you're an inspiration:) Roger in Calgary.
I'm on the South side of the Glenmore Reservoir. Happy New Year to you as well bud, keep cranking out the videos, it's cool having someone posting stuff so close to home! @@acmemachining

Great idea Jim. I will have to look at doing that also.

Agree with you on the Viking drill and taps. They are worth every penny.

Thanks Roger and Happy New Year to you. What part of Calgary are you in? I am just an hour north east of Calgary.
