More recent tho I am not swimming in money and wanting to move on I luckily have a pc set up that help with that; however if I wanted to play on ps5, most games are not doing the “legacy” mode like ps3 to ps4. So this helps a ton and love the video! 🍻
Yeah, Brook is pretty good, but as a customer who's bought 3 of their converters, they pretty frequently put out a firmware update that messes everything up, then it takes them MONTHS to fix it (which wouldn't be a problem if they kept the previous firmware up on their website). Basically, I'm talking about the Wingman XE 2. The original XE firmware isn't perfect yet, but my XE 2 is just straight useless now (until they finally fix the firmware, but it's been 2 months). I have madcatz te the first sf4 release for ps3 tested on pc it works and te s super sf4 for xbox360 tested on ps4 it works. So I assume it will work also in ps5 with this brook fgc wingman
Problem with playing on PC is mostly controller hotswapping. This isn't a problem on consoles usually, but on PC, there's potential for controllers to not be read correctly, especially if you have like a really weird controller that reads directional inputs as buttons (I've run into them, they exist lmao). Basically there's too many variables for PC to be the standard for tournaments
Why the waste of money and time with things like that when you can play those fighting games in a much better way (and a bigger player base) using a PC, wich is compatible with 99% of peripherals of any kind? If you can afford a PS5 or Xbox you can afford a PC. Maybe it's a bit more expensive but it becomes a lot cheaper in the long term and you got better performance in every game and all the functionality of a pc. Try to create a Word document on a console, per example.
Tournaments are run on console, so the adapters are needed unless you intend on buying a new licensed stick every time a new console drops (which used to be the norm, and why lots of 09'ers have tons of sticks)

Says it does on the compatibility list, my wingman turned up today so will test it with the Xbox Killer Instinct TE2 fight stick tomorrow hoping that works as I very rarely use my one X these days so the stick is a little redundant
@@rasterico yes let me know bruh! Cause i tested it. Maybe i need to format or update the wingman
@@TriNguyen-iu2vi just this second tried it, mine works perfectly, haven’t updated the brook or formatted it in any way, just followed the instructions and plugged it into the ps5 first then plugged the TE2 into the brook shortly after, everything is working exactly as expected :) give it another go but turn on your ps5 first, then when it’s booted up plug the brook in, wait for the flashing blue lights on it then plug the stick in, finally press the Xbox button to register it as the controller :) next stop trying the TE2 on my PC with the brook as it’s never worked directly with it, that’s if I can tear myself away from Streetfighter 6 of course 🤣
I have madcatz te the first sf4 release for ps3 tested on pc it works and te s super sf4 for xbox360 tested on ps4 it works.
So I assume it will work also in ps5 with this brook fgc wingman
Game changer
This is why people play fighting games on pc to avoid all these converters
Problem with playing on PC is mostly controller hotswapping. This isn't a problem on consoles usually, but on PC, there's potential for controllers to not be read correctly, especially if you have like a really weird controller that reads directional inputs as buttons (I've run into them, they exist lmao).
Basically there's too many variables for PC to be the standard for tournaments
lol old man printing manuals
Modern is trash for zoomers that can't learn a dp input
I already ordered for Betop C3 Thorn but the seller said it doesn’t work with brook converter on ps5. Please someone help me with an honest answer before i lose money🙏
Is there a converter for a ps4 controller to work on ps5?
Does this work for a series x controller I need a converter that allows my series controller for a ps5
does this add any input lag?
A little more than 1ms after the last update
