Nice one like always Mr. T . I actually have a question for you and you seem like someone that it well informed about puerto plata . I’m planing a 2 month trip for cabarete with a buddy of mine and the money transfer seems like a problem . Do you suggest to bring all of my cash in pesos in my bag or to do the switch in Sosua ? Thank you
Maybe bring the majority in USD (plenty of places to change it here), and a credit or charge card (just in case), Bitcoin can also be changed at "Mariposa Ice-cream shop" in Puerto Plata, and then bring whatever Dominican pesos you might have on hand. If you arrive without Pesos, then all taxi guys will accept USD, then in i.e. Sosua, go to the Colonial Plaza and change with "Luis" (Black door) he offers the best rate around. I hope that was of help - Brgds, Mr.T
Do you think people are going to stop coming there over all? Or do you think more ppl are going to come there? Also are the real estate prices in general going down or up in your perspective. As of today it seems like inventory is not moving as it did when interest was lower
I just gave you a "lick of the ice-cream" so to speak in your question posted to another video, yet I can be hired to answer all the questions you have, at an affordable rate. I have 16+ years of experience here, and know I can save new expats money, time and hassles. To get started or for further info, simply reach out to me at: info@educatedtraveler.info Brgds, Mr. T
They have completely destroyed the 70-100 km/hour flow of traffic on the highway that we used to have from Cabarete to Puerto Plata 10 years ago, now the average speed is 10-40 km/hour in most stretches (or it's sitting still - long queues!). This is another Government attack on the economy by installing 16 useless traffic lights between Cabarete & Puerto Plata + police road blocks - it's a complete clusterf%#k!
Hello Raquel, thanks for watching and commenting! I would disagree with you, and there are many happy families with kids living here. I am inviting you to watch my video: "Expats Raising Children in the Dominican Republic": th-cam.com/video/nNHSrjbIcyU/w-d-xo.html
Another good video Mr T.👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching! :-)

Sosua is not for family with kids, simply.
