The Fear & Hunger OST was created/put together with varying degrees of originality by Miro Haverinen. It wouldn't be here without the samples of Taira Komori, Loop Loft and freesound.org.
I had theory, that persons who cause the birth of god of hunger, actually escaped. In both endings actually - a and b. But the cost for escaping was the endless loneliness and forgetting. Everyone, who protagonist used to know and love, forgot about them. And they are doomed to die alone in old age without friends, love and family. And being forgotten by everyone forever. I made this theory, thinking about “what the difference to die in the dungeon from blood loss and passing away from old age? What the difference, if in the end it is the same darkness and death-void?”

This song always gives me chills. It's a song that fills you with the feeling of hopelessness and giving in to the terror of the Dungeon of Fear and Hunger.
this song works perfectly for literally every single ending, there isn't true happiness, just the hollow feeling that like it or not all you did wasn't going to get you to anywhere other than pain and death, and the game makes it pretty clear through the start, awesome game Miro
I love that ending E is open to your interpretation. On one hand - you never escaped the dungeon and all of it was a hallucination. On the other hand, you DID escape the dungeon. But the horrors of it still haunt you
I believe the chronological canonical ending to Fear and Hunger went like this: Ragnvaldr finds Le’garde first and gets his revenge then proceeds to decimate all the evils of the Dungeon along with befriending moonless. He also obtains Miasma because Chadvaldr asf. he doesn’t get the cube of the depths back until Enki leaves it back at the tomb of the gods. Enki kills the New Gods and easily obtains his ending. D’arce finds a dead Le’garde courtesy of our boi Ragnvaldr and proceeds to get her ending.
