Nice! I'm doing a dnd Fear&Hunger campaign and this is super-useful for reading all the endings (if the players will manage to survive obviusly). Thank you!

hey im interested in running a funger dnd campaign myself! could you tell me what system you use for your campaign and how you're finding it?? thanks in advance if you reply!!

@@sleepyvasi3498 sure. I ruled it as much dnd as possible so I had to remove the different limbs mechanincs for enemies (but I wrote down that after losing some health, the enemies loses some abilities and attacks). I used the mind and health mechanic but converted all damages to dnd standards with an equation that put the medium damage of a sword in dnd with the medium damag sword in the game so that I could create dice damage for all the weapon of Fear&Hunger following that equation. With that in mind, I used the equation to create statblock for the enemies so that the pg could roll normal dice instead of rolling 20d10 for a long sword (in the game you deal 136 with that weapon, in dnd 1d8).
I used only Fear&Hunger object balanced by me and the fights were at turns but the character could not move on a map (like in the fhunger game).
I balanced skills like Dash with bonus at stealth and similar to avoid traps and enemies.
I used a dry-erease rpg map. For time-based events I decided the outcome based on how much time the players took in my prespective.
Since a dnd campaign isn't easly replayble like a videogame, I choose to put together some endings (the players found Le'garde but the campaign did not ended when they defeated him for example).
Sorry for the bad writing but I am in a rush. If you have more specific questions feel free to ask

@@sleepyvasi3498 sure! I made an equation with the sword's damage in dnd and the sword's damage in Fear&Hunger.
I used it in order to create weapon stats for all the blade etc... of the Fear&Hunger game and for every enemy stat block.
I used the mind and hunger mechanics and only in game objects adapted by me so, no short or long rests.
I adapted some abilities like dash to bonus for avoiding traps and enemies.
I used a dry-erease rpg map but during the fight the characters could not move like in the game.

    Theme of relief…

      I don’t think so.
The theme is real sad without an ounce of hope call me pessimistic i don’t care but hear me out.
You’ve played through what is arguably one of the hardest games in the world and saw lots of horrors that’d scar any human being if they were real.
I feel like this masterpiece is the theme of the traumas the character obtain during their run in the dungeon (I include encounters with the old Gods and the birth of the god of fear and hunger) therefore becoming the « in lore »theme of the Dungeon and of the God of Fear and Hunger

Opposite of relief. An ending to torment sure, but no relief would be felt.

Perhaps it was her destiny and the best ending as it allowed mankind to progress and escape their trapped cycle, but seeing her turn into a cold inhuman monolithic idol was hard to bare.
