Great looking egg plant
Thanks 👍
Great video Marty!!🪱🪱🪱
Thanks 👍very much!
Marty I have an eggplant going nuts too. Crazy, but it is getting down to 10 degrees celsius overnight......wonderful video Marty, Everyone loves a bit of harvesting. Your tips are awesome. I was using my raised garden bed to bury food scraps. It was into this bed I planted an eggplant seedling. It didn't do well for a month or so. Then after a rainy period followed by a sunny stretch when I didn't water it, it went absolutely ballistic. I have another in a pot going okay too. This is the first year the eggplants have survived!
Great news Matt, congrats on the eggplant!
I love this type of content Marty…
Thanks so much can you tell me why you like this type please? It will help for future productions.
@@martysgarden I like the focus on specific fruit/veg/plants, your hints and tips on how grow them, and how you specifically do it in your garden and composting setups…
@@damo3592 thanks
I love them for breakfast. I bubble/scorch the skin then peel. Lay it on its side and flatten with a fork. Stick it on a hot frying pan or bbq plate and tip over a whisked egg. Flipping it over until the egg is cooked to your liking. 🤤🤤🤤
What spices does Shirley use 🍺🍺
OOOh that sounds so good. Not sure what Sherly uses all the time. Last night it was fried in a coating of flour and a few things
Hi Marty
Egg plants still going in Sydney too.
Was going to say about the spikes😪🧑🌾
That’s sad that Subpods gone out of business😪..
Stoked they are still going strong there matey! Yes, Subpod,,sad stuff. Just not enough interest possibly in the product.
@@martysgarden one thing is they took lots of room from a raised bed, PVC pipe with wholes drilled in it buried 3/4 down use a empty pot as a lid and just add your scraps, then worms can move in and out of the bed into the pvc pipe when they like😁
No fruitfly down your way?
Not many this year!
i have given mine lots of worm castings nutrients etc...grow different ones.. but the flea beetles attack the leaves every year... how are you preventing this pest from damage.. I am in the same area as you...
I see them sometimes, but there must be a predator eating them in my garden as I have a lot of biodiversity.
