I absolutely concur to answers to the last question. For me first of all it is mental relaxation I need. I do not play particularly well and I do not even need any company to enjoy the game but I remember having a smile on my face after being soaked during a tournament.
Couldn’t agree more - “good” golf should not be the reason for enjoying a game. I wish I had worked that out sooner but thankfully I’ve realised it now!

the FJ Rain glove is the only one I use now, and the last 12 months+, great glove, will never go back.
I didn’t believe his good they were until I tried one in truly awful weather. Very impressed!
