Another well earned great session Paul , some super fit fish there too . C J was a real banger , stunning fish . Lovely venue with some super fish in it. The Korda catapult I use I've had years , long gone are the days of my trusty Black Widow firing out one at a time in the 80's although I loved using it and spending 30 minutes putting a couple of handfuls of bait out 😆 . Thanks as always for making and sharing your travels . 👊 Steve M
Another great vid squire. The words you were trying to find to describe those who still can’t get their heads round what rigs they use and the potential harm they can cause is………THICK………IGNORANT…………SELFISH, since covid or maybe before, it seems to have become a condition which is endemic in this blessed isle these days. Never mind eh, in then land of the blind, the one eyed man is king. Keep on keepin on!
@@scottsimon6572 Thanks Scott. I do agree with your adjectives. It’s quite incomprehensible at times and of course we are all dragged to the lowest common denominator.
@@jasonsalter3794 Good idea Jason. Strangely, I looked at it a while ago, put some in my eBay basket but never completed the purchase. Perhaps I should get a look at it 👊🏻
@@mathewwalklate9590 Thanks Mathew. Much the same with me on the catapult front. In this video I’m using a Korda version. I’ve had it so long I can’t say for certain which one but I suspect ‘heavy’. I have superglues a bit of stiff rig tube into the pouch tail for extra grip and just this morning I added a loop of paracord to aid grip with wet hands. Hope this helps. I can’t seem to add a photo else I would.
Great watch again Paul. Glad you had a great session 🐟🐟🐟🐟🎣🤝

Great video as always Paul. Good to see you back at the Birch. Hope to catch you next time, excuse the pun. Spreading the bait is a good tactic.

Top video as always Paul. I always put my mozzie zapper away from the bivvy because as you say it attracts them to kill them!!
@@darrylclarkson1799 Many thanks Darryl. I think I’ll stick with my Thermacell in the future
Give the Rigmarole tubing a go Paul.
I use it with 20lb X-line and it works a treat, being very easy to thread.

Cracking video Paul, throughly enjoyed watching it, can i ask Paul what lighting do you use as your night capture shot looked amazing 🎣
@@rickcampbell8410 Many thanks Rick for the comment. I use 2 Fox Halo lights on banksticks for night videos.

Hi Paul, great vid as usual! Which catapult do you use? I’ve tried a couple of different ones but not got on with them, thanks 👍🏻

I had that 35lb mirror a few years back the fight was unbelievable. Did it fight hard this time?
@@richardhedges1741 Fortunately Richard she came in rather easily. Just what you need at night.
