I kinda don’t like blizzard doing the invite streamers to play early because it looses the mad dash that happens at the beginning of the expansion where everyone is playing their own version of decks. It just becomes, what worked well when they played, this? Ok

Shudderwock does not copy extra Battlecries granted by the Heart of Vir'naal or any other card with a similar capability.

What was blizzard thinking making this quest?! It’s like rogue quest all over again in terms of broken OP. Do they even have play testers?
I'm pretty sure there's absolutely zero playtesting for Hearthstone. The draw doesn't seem to be any sort of balanced game experience, but just a bunch of overpowered shiny cards that serve to distract the player.

I didn't mention fun, because it's not fun. It's a distraction. It's habit forming, and made to hook you, but if there's one thing it isn't, it's fun.
not fun for you, maybe. and if that's the case, i don't quite understand continuing watching related videos and dumping on the game. i'm fairly certain, however there are still a fuck load of people who do find it fun, myself included.

When I see this deck, I laugh thinking PRIEST would be playable deck against this. New tier 1 deck, enjoy new Shudderwock meta. This time it's NOT the only win condition tho and there is no counter against it because it's not just OTK, it's aggro/control/OTK all at once!
Wonder if the people designed these cards even played a few games with them.
That's what I sayed until now, the most viable quests are the easiest to complete, and giving +3/+3 to a minion can snowball quickly ok, but do you have many minions to buff in the late game as a PRIEST? Quest Shaman and Quest Druid rewards are on another level in terms of value
Honestly I believe Quest Shaman decks can outvalue Control Warrior. You can play Elysiana just in case so they lose their only win condition which is fatigue, but as we can see this deck is ridiculous fast and can go face big time.
Everything Warrior gets in upcoming expansion is Restless Mummy and that 2/2 taunt which are both decent additions... while Shaman gets like 8 new meta defining cards to play with on ladder. That's bullshit right there.
Now I will have to craft Barista, Swampqueen just to stay competetive and before the expansion drops, I will have to tryhard to higher rank before my poor Warrior gets outclassed by Shamans and his cards turn worthless 2-3 tier wannabes.

So on the draw, it might be correct to do just that. I believe the paladin Death Knight OTK deck did exactly that, to kill a turn early.

Kripp. I never comment, and I know this is a canned and common feeling. But I do think that releasing the expansions early to select people is not only unfair but also deflates my anticipation. I know that games get released to reviewers before the public, and that's a historic practice, and that is very comparable to this. Nothing about it is "wrong." To me, it's just not fun. My personal view is that expansions and games can get gifted early to reviews, but the reviewers should only publish it at the release date. I know Blizzard, and other companies, do this to get free advertising and insight into the product, but overall it deflates my hype/anticipation. Easy fix for me, I just don't view this kind of content (I'm making a comment but I haven't watched the clip), I just wanted to throw my viewpoint into the void. Thanks for listening, Jesus.

@@Kripparrian Also fair. I fully expect any streamer/youtuber to take the opportunities that Blizz gives out but I dislike that Blizz gave anyone this early access in the first place to make videos. They really ruined the messy first couple of days of the expansion release.

I believe the Main Strength of this deck is how difficult it is to calculate how much Burn Damage your opponent could have. You're forced to play Super Safe against it, because he might just deal 20+ direct burn damage through Lackey RNG.

Though you can have both in a deck, you can't have 2 Quests active at a time. You would need to complete one before starting the other. It would be hilarious to do, but not good.
@@KnownAsKenji it would still work even if it's just one quest at a time. All you have to do is make sure to activate Unite the Murlocs first before Corrupt the Waters because of how easy it is to activate Corrupt the Waters.

I've been playing battlecry shaman for 3 months now in standard and am pretty disappointed that its likely going to be one of the most popular decks now. Oh well. Hopefully it will be hard to refine.
I feel ya man. I’ve made many homemade decks over the years, sometimes different enough that people friend me to ask about the deck. It’s pretty sad when a completely unique deck you’ve been playing for months becomes tier 1 and is now hated by everyone

The Shaman Quest hero power should be nerfed to 'Your next battlecry triggers twice', limiting it to only 1 card that reaps the benefit per turn.
Can already see the end of classic control decks and the rise of toxic crap like infinite egg pally and infinite battle cry shaman

Crunchy Toast 2 copies of egg and they can duplicate the turn it’s played, so need to silence 3-4 eggs or bust... of course there are other death rattle minions that are just as annoying

Finally shaman appears to be good again, finally my main class isn’t in the trash tier list. I had enough being raped by shitty mages or shitty warrior bomb or shitty aggro decks, obviously I don’t like aggro decks so playing aggro Shaman wasn’t an option. This quest will be opened or crafted in golden for sure.
