- In this video, I will tell you how I protect my motorcycle from being stolen. The security of your motorcycle should be priority number one, especially when you travel. It is so obvious because if you don't have a motorcycle you cannot travel with it.
10% discount with code MOTOADV10, valid for Monimoto 7 & 9 trackers. The code will be valid from July 15th until August 15th.

Man u really are a pretty smart guy sometimes.
Saying theft protection should be Priority One really does finally get the point across to suckers like me.
Thx MA.
Really important.
I take a lightweight cover, too.
Locking both wheels makes it doubly difficult.
Good topic.
Ride safe 👍
What lightweight cover do you use I'm struggling to find one
@@notadoctora7956 bought from a discount supermarket. €10. Really packs tight.
@@notadoctora7956cheap supermarket item. €10. Packs up really small and is very light. More for security than yo keep the weather off.
Ride safe 👍
Pavlin I wached all of your videos and 5 years ago I both Arbus disc lock and MONIMOTO tracker based to your advised . I was living in London at the time and Man there are a lot of thieves is mega dangerous but following your advices a manage to protect my Bike . Now I living in Zurich and hire that problem just not existing but I still keep my disc lock and I even got the new MONIMOTO 7 ( I highly recommend that tracker to everyone ) Now I feel completely secure when I travel in Europe .In the end of each of your videos you said " I hope my advice to help at least one person " Well I'm that person , thanks a lot . Ride safe and keep beeng real !!! Нарочно го написах на английски , за да може повече хора да разберат как ми помогна . Бъди здрав и успех в бъдещите начинания 👊
Thanks for sharing your experience! Благодаря!
Locks are for honest people. A skateboard is a handy travel tool. Out of sight out of mind. A generic cover. Nothing to show off. Monimoto is good stuff Good vid
Agree!
I use a grip lock, 2 wheel locks, a cover, a U-lock through the rear wheel, AND I tether the rear wheel to a tall concrete barrier pole with a cable.
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome thx for the link I will give it a try for sure as my next purchase.
At home on my drive I use a ground anchor, 2 disc locks (1 alarmed) and a cover. On my recent 2 week euro tour I used just front/rear disc locks and a cover.
Thanks for sharing!
I had a similar product on my daughter's 125cc scooter. Sadly thieves smashed the hell out of the lock damaged the disc , wheel and brake caliper. Thankfully local people knew it was my daughters scooter and stopped them from pushing it away.
I think if someone wants it so bad they will find a way to steal it.
Cover is the best anti theft device
Great job, as always ! Thumbs up !
Thanks!
Good points, and that Monimoto sounds great, should look into that! I use an abuse disclock with integrated alarm, so its locked at the disk and if someone tries to move that handlebars or shakes the bike the siren goes off....
Good!
Apple Air Tag is the cheapest gps Tracker you can buy✌️
Completely different thing.
I disagree. There is a law that any other device Android, or another iphone will detect the airtag, and let you know that you are being "tagged" so any thief would know within 5 minutes that he/she is being tracked. At least in germany
But most expensive phone?
Great place for a disc lock mount!
It sure is!
Полезное кино. Спасибо. Удачи. До Варенные доеду. но на пару дней в Созопол должен заглянуть.
До встречи
How did you mount your disk lock Pavil?
And.... your videos are fantastic.
There is a bracket that they sell additionally, but I also made another one to mount it on the triple clamp.
Abus sell a bracket to fix to your bike.
I use
-disc lock with motion alarm on the front wheel
-disk lock on the back wheel
-Invoxia gps tracker
-Samsung tag
This combination of 4 systems helps to keep my conscience calm... But is not invisible... Nothing is
Thanks for sharing!
In a similar fashion, I use a Roadlok and Invoxia as a tracker
Thanks for sharing!
watched a video not long ago and believe it or not , the locks that fit from front brake to bars took many times longer to remove than quality disc locks and chains....grinders were used as tools
Don't forget the size and weight. You need to carry it when you travel.
@@motorcycleadventuresoh yes that goes without saying, I think my Oxford disc lock is about the same weight
A lot smaller of course
have a few locks and use a front brake lever lock when out can't forget it's on 😊
Excellent thanks for letting us know
Any time!
Very useful 👌
Glad to hear it!
Awesome to be the first here. Bought a XT660Z recently..
Very fast reaction! Thanks!
@@motorcycleadventures Maybe one day we will meet and have a coffee. I have clients in Bulgaria.
What if someone opens the bolts on the disc - where you stick the disc lock ??🤔🤔
What do you mean?
7:55 I don't think you can use your own SIM card with the new Monimoto9, as it has a builtin eSIM only? That was an option on MM5 and MM6 afaicr.
Trie
so, you dont carry a CHAIN, when you re on travel?
No! It is too heavy.
Hi pavln. On your recommendation, I want to buy the tracker, however, your discount is not being applied, so I'll not untill that gets sorted. I fear the company is not kept their deal with you
I will check it out.
It is working now.
Just ordered one
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I have the Monimoto now for several years. The best things is - it just works…
Used it also when I shipped my bike - so I know where it is.
Airtags are nice - but without any modification it is not a concealed solution.
Thanks for sharing!
I shut the fuel off I fond my motorcycle at the end of the drive way the thief did not think to check the gas valve and ran off after the bike died
Good trick!
Apple Air Tag
Okay
Nice review
I use also GRANIT™ Victory XPlus 68, very good and small lock, mabee even the besr from small locks
Dor tracking I use Apple AirTag
Thanks for sharing!
Holly smoke! Where are all the fan- boys now?
A minimalist trying to sell some sponsored shuuut.
Deep down in Russia he always made sure, his bike was in a safe enviroment during his stays, never ever mentioned this bs.
I had it on all of my trips, Russia included.
paying subscription after you already buy the product is stupid idea of modern times, like now you pay netflix and then pay again to get version without ads, etc. they are pushing bad business models. gps tracker with sim or a cheap phone with gps app hidden away in the bike is much better, you only park for 1-2 days at most and you can recharge, nobody needs gps security if you garage park for 3 months in winter
Whatever works for you
Pavlin does not understand that....hahaha......You are very correct.
@@PP-wz7mp Next i will pay for wedding with my wife and at night when we go to bed she will say STOP... give me 50 euro
GSM it’s not free anywhere.
I just gaffa tape asamsung smart tag to my bike. Solution costs about $20 and you can track location. I've been using the same tag on my bike for about 3 years now. Not foolproof but at least you can track your stolen bike cheaply without subscription service.
Don't give bad advice because you get a sponsored product for free... you can NOT use your own SIM card in the Monimoto, the Monimoto sim card is soldered/fixed in the newer models. You could only do that with the Monimoto 5 model. And with your own sim card in that, the service is completely free... You also forget to mention the most important part; Monimoto needs GPS signal, so mounting it underneath a petrol tank will not work. Same when 3 people lift your motorcycle in a van; no more GPS signal and no more tracking. Any kind of anti theft protection for a motorbike is only possible when it is attached to a fixed object. I made my own device with 3 tire levers; double function. Alarms or trackers are a bonus but with little added value.
It is true about the sim card. Not true about Van, and recommended it because I use it. Also, if you notice it, I said to use it with two more levels of protection. So the advice is not bad, just because you think so!
@@motorcycleadventuresthanks alot for the advice
