The media and music industry owes her apologies..my friends and I have unapologetically bought her records and loved her unconditionally since the 90s❤
God bless Sinead for having the courage to raise awareness about the sins of the Roman Catholic Church. It's the most criminal institution in the history of humankind.
In your youth you did not gather. How will you find anything in your old age? 4 How appropriate is sound judgment in the gray-haired, and good counsel in the elderly! 5 How appropriate is wisdom in the aged, understanding and counsel in the venerable! 6 The crown of the elderly, wide experience; their glory, the fear of the Lord. 7 There are nine who come to mind as blessed, a tenth whom my tongue proclaims:* The man who finds joy in his children, and the one who lives to see the downfall of his enemies. 8 Happy the man who lives with a sensible woman, and the one who does not plow with an ox and a donkey combined.* Happy the one who does not sin with the tongue, who does not serve an inferior.
RIP Sinead, you had an angelic voice, and your values and ethics have been misunderstood by many. Your contribution to music and the world will be greatly missed
I'm with you, John. I'm not a "star-crying" guy. I cried à Cohen's death and now I got tears going uncontrol. I'm struggling in the way she was. She chooses peace and I can't blame her. It's hard to live in pain. Her life is now upon us. to remember her for what she really was and to never forget that a broken child is hard to reconstruct. hope that makes sens for someone.
@@mariocroteau154 "a broken child is hard to reconstruct." That's the truth. It's hard to face, so people focus on the "resilience of children." Yours is the real truth.
Sinead spoke the truth at a time when very few dared. She was mocked for doing so, ultimately to be proven right. Though we all knew what was going on, and for many years. Ireland was a very different place when this lady came on the scene, thankfully she helped to pull us out of the shadows and lift the veil of secrecy from the catholic church. Aged 20 years old this force of nature burst into our consciousness. Raging. Anyone listening to "The Lion and The Cobra" is bearing witness to her pain her suffering the treachery of those whose function was to protect her and her refusal to accept the injustice of it all. Aged 20 she planted her feet on the planet and refused to budge. She became the voice to those voiceless, the displaced, the abused and she our champion. The fecking Catholic Church took her on and did their best to ruin her. They failed. Her battles, her victories and the wounds she got fighting created music that became our sanctuary, our means of solace when broken in spirit. That hatred, malice, vilification and a concentrated effort to destroy her failed to topple her but pure love for a son whose loss she could not endure felled her is testament to this woman's integrity. Shuhada Sadaqat Sinéad O'Connor Rest In Power. ✊✊✊
Sadly, everyone failed her. The musical artist (and so many she has worked with in the past), friends, the music industry (ha-ha) and, yes, even the fans. Since you mentioned THE LION AND THE COBRA (you mentioned her "pain & suffering" , I have been a fan from the start. And fortunate enough to see her several times before "Nothing compares to you" hit record stores and shot her into worldwide fame. It was apparent that Shane was the apple of her eye. The fans were not in a position to help as it would be near impossible to rally enough together and there are too many people that don't understand mental illness. So, where was everyone else? R.I.P. May your beautiful soul be at peace, Sinead.
I've seen older videos of her when she sang Irish classics like "Danny Boy" and "Molly Malone". I saw her tear a photo of the Pope on SNL, and I've heard some of the most beautiful sounds from her voice on songs like "Sacrifice" and I've been moved to tears by "Black Boys on Mopeds" and I am glad to share the Earth with her. The world is better for having her in it!
Każdy jej utwór ,jest przepełniony pełnią emocji. Można poczuć bliskość jej duszy . Byłam na jej dwóch koncertach w Amsterdamie -Paradiso . Ciarki przechodzą po ciele . Jej głos ,nawet bez muzyki jest najlepszym instrumentem ,najlepszym darem .
When Sinead was living in Bayswater, London in the 90s my friend Tony was down and out Sinead gave him a Car that he could use as a Mini Cab. She was such a kind person. May she rest in perfect peace
Sinead was standing alone against all the sins of this pathetic world… and it broke her… too soon… nonrecoverable… Such a beautiful and vulnerable soul… you’ll never be forgotten 💔🙏🙇🏻♀️❣️🌟
Jesus stood alone and took the blows. He took all our sins upon that cross so that we may have eternal life. For he loved each of us unconditionally, called us into being for a plan and a purpose. May God have mercy on her soul and may she rest in His Peace.
@@fenwayify she didn't suffer with mental illness, she suffered with trauma and the grief then of losing her son..."mental illness"....its called being a humna being and having emotions !!! something which many in our society don't know about aparently
What an amazing human being. Have not stopped watching her interviews and performances incessantly since her death, just wish I’d paid more attention to her whilst she was alive. May her bravery, integrity and creative spirit live on eternally ❤
Same! I can't stop watching her and listening to all her music! I feel guilty I missed out. I am learning so much about her I never knew. Wow her music is amazing!! I remember I liked Nothing Compares and Emporers New Clothes but wow there is soooo much more and I had no idea. To learn what a wonderful human she was and how she was treated is just horrifying. Broken 💔
Wow this loss is palpable. She held a space that we didnt even realize she held and now it seems as the days go on without her, more and more people are realizing her immense and quiet strength. She struggled under the weight of it and we all would have too. 🙏 now we are all lifting her up and i really hope she can feel it.
If there is a heaven I wish she will be there. If there is a paradise I wish she be there. If there is a rebirth I wish she will get a Life without suffer and pain. May she be happy 🙏

RIP 🥀🙏
@ivosnivo she was abused as a child and had a terrible mother... then abused again by other adults.. please don't make this type of comments so easily.
@ivosnivo you know nothing about why her child committed suicide. it is not automatically a parent's mistake. the world is tough, a parent can do so much. You should blame the society who treated Sinead horrible just because she told the truths and she did not fit into their mold. Regardless of how loving mother she can be, the treatment and career losses and hostility she received of course will be reflected on her child. She looked like a loving mother and a very sensitive loving person - it is interesting, bring that up in therapy why you automatically blamed the suicide of her son on her. We are all vulnerable, we don't know how cruel life could become against us. This does not mean don't make a child. Also, her son had to be raised in the toxic celebrity world, and that is good enough for many young artists and their children to get absorbed into the toxic issues this status and visibility bring . Stop blaming the woman for everything - a son 17 means you are not any more in charge. You lose control of a child's mental and psychological development slowly and more and more after they pass 10 - society takes over. I know it from my nieces and nephews. Seems like you need more therapy to correct your view on this.
The world has lost an angel. This concert gives us a glimpse of her raw talent and the incredible woman Sinead O'Connor was. She's going to be sorely missed 😢😢😢
I would of given ANYthing to see Sinead in Concert.... I absolutely love her and have since the 80's.. I named my daughter after her! When I heard of her passing it was from my Daughter and I just cried and cried and still do. She was an icon and I will forever miss her. RIP my pretty and amazing musical hero! Forever!
I have never cried for a famous person..sinead was different. I feel so sad and gutted . She was a beautiful raw and shining light.. so much compassion and empathy in her soul.. there never was and never will be a singer / artist as real as her.. music from the heavens flowed through her .. she left us so many many gifts... thank you sinead. She exited to find her lost son, to be with him. A tragic and poetic , from a Bronte novel, she had to seek him on the other side. This concert is flooding in high, deep emotions, I have never experienced so much from many singers. She could be singing in a foreign language and I would still be moved to tears. It was not the lyrics, it was her emotions behind the sounds. She was fire , she burned herself out of here, like a blaze, she could not be tamed nor silenced, only she could do that.
Oh, Sinead! Sinead, Sinead, Sinead! I am so shocked and saddened. I am in Toronto, Canada and people around the world are equally as sad as I am. R.I.P.
I’m in love with this woman in a profound spiritual way. Have been since I first heard her pained but beautiful angelic voice on a song called “Heroine.” I heard the song and raced to every record store in and around Boston and found an imported cassette of The Lion and the Cobra. Her album was not yet officially released in the states. No other singer gives me chills in quite the same way that Sinead does. I truly feel the emotion in her voice, in her words and in her truth ❤
@@juniemoon1528 she was so special and such a beautiful soul and I absolutely broke down when I heard the news today as I’m sure all of her fans did. Sinead was one of my musical first-loves in the late 1980s, what a dark era it was but her music made life more bearable during that time. With her passing, and Dolores O'Riordan a few years back, there are no more voices with such power and range sounding like an angel on fire. RIP. We'll miss you--I miss you now.

I'm just discovering this remarkable singer, who redefines the act of singing. Sinead left this world on the same day as my mother, Rose, 30 years ago. Ancestors whose presence will echo on and on.
She sang about her feelings and thoughts. Isn't that a wonderful gift from God. She could not accept the World the way it is. Tortured by human ways. Now she is at Peace. The Struggle is Real!!! I am thankful she was able to express herself. That's what Artists do. They wanted to buy and own a voice that God gave her.

Non ho seguito purtroppo questa donna e cantante straordinaria quando era in vita. Ascoltando questo concerto e conoscendo un po' la sua storia non si può non commuoversi. Grazie Sinéad RIP
One of my musical heroes from the 90's...one of the others was Dolores O'Riordan both Irish. Sinead knew about the real pains in this world...The pains caused by the real pandemic of this world it is called child (ritual) abuse, child trafficking, pheadophelia within Hollywood, the Vatican and a heel lot more places within society. I was the victim of illegal adoption which is child trafficking and that is why she has always been my hero. Her music made me feel like I could turn my story of pain into a powerful tool to help other children and adults who went trough the same. Forever grateful Sinead....💛💕💛💕
Yes she was an Angel and a brave Warrior, we all know that. But do you know what she was most importantly?: a phenomenal musician. A great singer/songwriter that unfortunately didn't get talked about that part enough by people. That's the part I carry with me of Sinéad; her musical legacy far beyond "Nothing Compares 2 U". This concert speaks for itself about that. ❤🎉
You are beyond correct. I’ve been listening to this concert for weeks now. I admire bravery and people that speak up but I won’t listen for weeks. I will only enjoy a brilliant performance for that long. This concert is beautifully produced and performed by herself and a really good band. I just love this show and I’m delighted that we still get to enjoy this incredible moment in time. All the critics didn’t take away her love for music.

Well said! Thank you! She is missed. horribly.
To think Sinead has left us now it’s heartbreaking

When Sinead was living in Bayswater, London in the 90s my friend Tony was down and out Sinead gave him a Car that he could use as a Mini Cab. She was such a kind person. May she rest in perfect peace
Sinead was standing alone against all the sins of this pathetic world… and it broke her… too soon… nonrecoverable…
Such a beautiful and vulnerable soul… you’ll never be forgotten 💔🙏🙇🏻♀️❣️🌟
Jesus stood alone and took the blows. He took all our sins upon that cross so that we may have eternal life. For he loved each of us unconditionally, called us into being for a plan and a purpose. May God have mercy on her soul and may she rest in His Peace.

Wow! Amazing tribute!
Sinéad... the truest Punk, the realest to ever do it. Rest in God's love... you woke people up in the realest way and you are immortal in our hearts 🙏

❤
💕💕
Her cause of death has not been released. Speculating on it is insensitive and comparing her death to a novel is crass.

She always amazes me at how good she can sound when she is screaming. Love that about her.
Agree
I love that you made my favorite music!! Feeling this concert deeper than normal. Hard to have you in a different realm. Yet, thankful you are with your son💚 May your family and loved ones feel love and comfort during this difficult process. I love you deeply! I would not be who I am, without you on this planet
That's really nice, I totally get it. So glad I found this concert, it's on a whole other level to anything I've heard before.
Sinead's the real deal. So powerful, strong and vulnerable. Thank you so much.
I always knew i liked her and loved her voice but i didn't listen to a lot of her music and now im just discovering it. I just loved her for being out spoken and thought she was funny 😁 the way she just swore and didn't care.. her fighting spirit was admirable.. she was clever and beautiful and so much talented. She had that Amazing mystical Irishness about her iv 😍 only ever seen and heard from irish singers.. god and Allah bless her forever. We only have one in the same god anyway.
I have never seen such an exact, perfect, focused and emotionally a true 100% dedicated artist!
А legend , a pure soul in each of her songs , massive talent . Beauty inside out ! Blessed and really touched by God ! We love you so much Sinead ! Always have loved you !
May her memory be a revolution. Mother Warrior Goddess, fought God and Man and won. Fly free forever.
Songs from "Fire & Courage" and "I'm not bossy, I'm The Boss", two absolutely incredible albums that most people haven't even discovered. You all must listen to every track from those 2 albums and then you can reply to this. Long live Sinéad's music. ❤
I discovered her music only 4 years ago and I did the rabbit hole thing. There is still stuff I don't know but you're right, these albums are masterpieces and ever since SNL she wasn't even nearly as appreciated as she deserved. Universal mother as well
I grew up listening to Fire & Courage! It has helped gone through the taughest times of my life, and for that I could never thank Sinead enough...
"Fire & Courage"???? The album was called "Faith and Courage".
This was a great, bad-ass look for her...Stylistically she looked and had such a powerful presence. 2014...Wow, 47 yrs-old and 27 yrs after The Lion and the Cobra. ❤
Прекрасная Шинейд и какая трагическая судьба...Царствие небесное. 🙏❤🕊
