He is so underrated! I remember seeing him on a Jonas brothers cover a while back with Tyler Carter (now canceled RIP), Luke Holland, and Jared Dines. It was SO good
The voice, the grit but also the whisper, especially in the beginning. It's like he was feeling the quietness of the bedroom and didn't want to be too loud. I dunno, I KNOW he felt this because WE all feel it through him. It's like when you're hearing someone tell you a heart wrenching story and they start crying. We feel their pain so deeply that WE start crying. Teddy is able to relay this message SO WELL that we all feel it. Great reaction!

I had the chance to go to one of Teddy's shows and meet him, he took a picture with me and my wife. He was incredibly nice we were both watching a football game on our phones during the meet up so we thought that was funny. He gave us a big hug before saying bye. So much talent and kindness!

The origin of the song:
The idea for the song came to Reid, after reading an article about a man arrested for getting drunk and shooting at his girlfriend's car.
The judge asked him if he had learned anything, to which he replied, "I learned, Your Honour, that you can't make a woman love you if she don't."
Raitt recorded the vocal in just one take in the studio, later saying that it was so sad a song that she could not recapture the emotion: "We'd try to do it again and I just said, 'You know, this ain't going to happen.'”

Pretty good cover of ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’ but the best cover & version of this song (even better than the original, Bonnie Raitt), is by George Michael. You can hear George sing it live on his 1996 MTV special or you can listen to the recorded version as well. George Michael is at the top of the list for greatest male vocalist of all time. I was fortunate to see & hear him sing live in three of his concerts and he sounds even better live than on his albums which is simply amazing and what a phenomenal entertainer he was. His music catalog, beautiful voice, musicality, range, and versatility is beyond that of any other male singer. Take a listen and I’m sure you will agree. My recommendation, watch & listen to George Michael on his live MTV special, he’s amazingly awesome and you’ll see exactly what I’ve stated. Enjoy!
