This is a real dune surfer vehicle, not only a posh carrier to show on sunset boulevard. Ive seen one on ica desert, peru, leaving very down and behind most "4x4" on dunes that have been a challenge even for dakkar pilots, except the nissan patrol and the porsche cayenne s which can go side by side. If you are into off road and want to do it the classy way, this one is your car, otherwise you will be misusing the vehicle, go and get an x5 or a q7.
They are 3 things that makes the LX470, LX570 and TOYOTA LANDCRUISER 200 SUPERIOR and EXCEPTIONAL to any rivals like the G WAGON, RANGE ROVER, X7, QX80. 1)KDSS 2)HYDRAULIC SUSPENSION AND AHC 3)RELIABILITY. To be honest, The Lx and LC and GX are ancient and outdated in today's technological and electronic standards. But the KDSS suspension system takes this beast to a whole new level. Look up KDSS
awesome review i love this car. i used to have an x5 which is a POS compared to this. I didnt know i could put both headphones in the rear armrest! i was just putting one in.
+Kevin Nguyen Hopefully we will have an opportunity to review that new truck in the near future, Kevin Nguyen. We are probably as anxious as you are to check it out, so stay tuned! We appreciate your comment and thanks for watching, too!
No, that was just an omission, Sheldon Warner. Although its exterior design is polarizing to some, we think the QX80 is a very luxurious vehicle on the inside and would definitely be an alternative to the LX 570. Thanks for watching!
Where's the tech? At 90,000.00 there should be more tech then just a lame nav system. Like radar guided cruise control and braking, heads up display,4G connectivity gps tracker for security. You not gonna compete with Escalades and Suburbans, Bmw and Mercedes. Right now you are paying a High Tech price for a low Tech Suv.
My lx570 has radar cruise control it is a rare option i was lucky to find one with it. Its a pretty cool feature and it can completely stop your car in an emergency, but it uses more gas since it revs really hard.
@@uzairh2768 This. My neighbor just had a tow truck take his away. My Lexus is boring. Starts every day, need no repairs and it's rather ho hum. No drama. Same with the Toyota Sienna I had before it, same with the other Toyota before that.....all went 300k miles without issues. My RX350 has 236k now and not a single problem. Shooting for 300k miles. 😉
It’s because it’s a land cruiser at heart. It uses some dated buy reliable components instead of the latest and buggiest products. It’s a Toyota at heart and made to no break down then become incapable. Besides that. It does have radar cruise control.
I'm shopping now, and I'm not considering any of those brands' SUVs. The fact that Lexus/Toyota SUVs are built like tanks more than makes up for some tech gadgetry for me. Everyone's priorities may differ.
Well the LC leather is so different also the paint also the suspension AHC Is standard on the LX and in the 2016 plus Lc it’s like 10k add on. That’s the price difference right there
Apparently this guy is unaware that this truck is an off road legend.

That jacket. This glasses...you need to buy a Member only jacket. and you'd be set. 😁
Nice review.
I noticed you didn't compare it to the Infiniti QX80. Any reason?

Is that Carltton doing car reviews??
This shit is marketing hype lmao the difference between it and LC luxury wise is barely noticeable and price is much more expensive.

On the preowned market people are actually paying MORE for LCs now. Might as well take the Lexus luxury if buying used.
