I put my X Macro slide on the WC XL frame, love it with 12 round then I have some WC inserts for the 17 round mags making it two guns in 1. I also threw in the mag guts in my 12 round mag making it 14+1. Best shooting gun in its class hands down
Wish I found this video sooner. I installed my new grip, well attempted at least. When pushing the mag release in position, the little spring popped out in the mag well and I didn’t realize it and pushed the other side into place. Now I have a springless mag release install. And guess what, you can’t take it apart or get at it to undo it to put the spring in place. Emailed Wilson for help. Crickets.
Did the same thing. Wrecked my retainer clip while trying to remove it. Called Wilson. They have several thousand of the mag release kits on back order. Found a TH-cam video on Sig Guy's channel that shows how to remove the X-Macro retainer. Removed unit from the OEM grip module and used it on the WC grip module. Golden now. The X-Macro grip module is different than XL version, including a slightly different mag release.
Its a great grip but one 'tiny' issue. I bought the short frame version and unlike the Wilson XL sized frame it does not fit into my Sidecar holster. Am a fan of Wilson Combat but it makes zero sense to do this on a pistol that lives its life in a holster. Going to try a heat gun and try and make it fit.
Unfortunate that the short macro module from Wilson doesn't actually fit any of the XL holsters I have. The trigger guard is too wide on the short macro module. Complete miss by Wilson in this case. The normal macro module is great though.
I have two Xmacros with the WC modules, one with the 1913 rail, one short rail. The short rail model fits in the three holsters that I have for the XL. Two are leather (one Desantis, one Simply Rugged) and one Kydex (I’m not sure of the manufacturer, but I think it’s RKBA)
Hey man I seen that you just uploaded the new radian back strap and magwell, you prefer this Wilson combat grip or the radian setup better? Should say I just picked up the new fuse and that’s what it’s going to go on. Also assume that you’re from Ohio as well? Fellow buckeye? Thanks man.
Both are good. But I’ve been carrying the radian. I like the radian grip more and the magwell is really nice. And yes I’m from Cleveland. #keepohiostrong.
Plz help!! I have the same setup now, I wanted a change from the Icarus grip module. My Wilson combat will not fit in my Icarus holster. Any recommendations for new holster with light bearing option?
@@m2elitetactical587 I emailed tier 1 and they’re telling me they don’t offer a holster for the Wilson combat yet. Did you pick the axis elite with the 365 xl and a tlr7-a light and it worked?
@@m2elitetactical587 Thanks I love this gun . My only complaint is they have a Striker trigger without a built in safety . Because of what I do for employment I often have my original 365 in my back pocket . Yeah I know But it conceals so well that way. My training officer carries a tiny keltec DA/SA and never has a holster . If anyone ever makes a safety trigger I'll be first in line
@@cramerlong2276 I find this hard to believe. I run a standard X macro with EPS carry and it prints. Less so in black. I have a Wilson combat XL frame and the grip is more comfortable bc it is more round. The front magwell is pointed and flared outwards. With this version there is no pointed end but it still has similar width. Makes a difference appendix with a t shirt.
If you take out the mag disconnect and safety then yes. Or you can dremmel a small cutout to fit with the mag dis. And cut out a small square to fit the safety if you don't want to mess with the fcu

You can remove it. Look up a video Try using the spring from your factory release. Hopefully this helps

Wow, that mag release replacement is so much easier than Glock!

Trex seems to have good customer service. I would ask the the best way to fit it.
Just need it in Magpul OD Green now
Can you do a side by side of the original frame and the WC one? To me it looks like the wc is alot bigger
Its thicker then the factory sig frame. But I will show a side by side when I get it to the range

Why didn’t they put some stippling up front where the left thumb rest ?
Armory Crafts is a lot more expensive

What holster are you running with this set up? Apparently holster compatibility has been an issue with these modules
Tier 1 concealed. Is the holster I’m running
All my holsters work fine with my Wilson Combat Macro grip but I don't know what works with that thumb rest he has.
@@ifly64s I just had to loosen the tension just a little bit and then put some more blue Loctite on it and now it works fine

So no FFL to buy a grip module? Is it just the fire control unit that is considered the actual "gun"?
Yep, the fire control unit it the serialized part.
Is the WC grip closer to the medium back strap on the original? Or is it bigger?
It’s bigger
@@m2elitetactical587 good to know, thanks.

*M2 Elite Tactical* Does the wilson xmacro print more with the magwell?
No. I have not notice any difference when carrying. The Mag well is very subtle, but works well.

What is the thumb rest over the light ?
That is the WING from antimatter industries. It’s a foldable thumb rest for your support hand.
How do you carry with that giant wing?
It’s folds while it’s in the holster. It pretty sweet.
