I have all three of these speakers. And personally, I prefer the Bose for its base performance and overall sound. When you use the equalizer, it opens up the sound so you get more clarity
Minor is the wrong word here, from my experience the sound has drastically changed with the eq. It has way better and pronounced mids than the last one. Highs are also cleaner.
You’re the first person I’ve come across who says the sound has drastically changed. I’ve heard many no change and many minor change though. Did you make this determination about the sound after you fussed with the EQ?
@waynedexter yes. When not using the eq and leaving it on 0 0 0 , there is still a slight difference which only sound people will hear, not the avarage buyer. It got slightly crispier highs, and it has less boomy bass but more to the deeper end. And the eq itself is a massive improvement. I'm using mine with extra mids and a little bit more highs, and it's a whole new experience. The mids are so much better.
@@Deevel79 you can't mess up the sound with a 3 band eq. You just can't🤣🤣 even a monkey can use it. The eq only makes it better, and evem on default settings the gen 2 is better. I have both and i liked the old flex since it came out
@@csrs247 - I have a friend who bought 2 UE Everbooms, they sound great paired together. I think the Everboom is the sweet spot, it's large enough to produce great sound, but they are portable enough to carry around the house easily or to bring to a gathering.
I have the jbl flip 6 and bose flex 2 and based on my daily listening experience the jbl flip 6 is the winner here. Bose flex 2 sounds muffled and treble is struggling also when volume is above 80% it is distorted unlike the flip 6 that only lessens the bass a bit and still has a great sound also clarity.
I own both flip6 and bose. If you have a couple of bucks extra then go for bose. Both are good but bose give the feeling of more realistic crystal clear sound. But when you are listening to lound music i dont see much difference.
In now, 2025 how can Bose still be making hot trash? It sounds completely devoid of highs. Neither the JBL nor the Sony were perfect, but at least they recognize the need for full range
i bought the sony ult 1 and sound like garbage. change it for the bose sound link and sound way way better then the sony ult 1. Also now i got the jbl filp 6 and way better then sony.

Above all, Charge 5 is better
@@juliancobain9970 yes, charge five is pretty good too
The charge 5 is huge and clunky next to the Bose. @@juliancobain9970
What about flip 6 . Can I buy it without any regrets over Bose or Sony

Helped me make my choice on a Bluetooth speaker years ago. I got the JBL charge 3😄 it still works! Thank you for these great videos!
EXCELLENT INFORMATION
All sound is subjective it’s a matter personal opinion even if one or two has better specs than the other

I prefer the original flex as it sounds perfect out of the box. An app will only allow me to mess up the sound.

You do a lot of comparisons with Bose, Sony and JBL. What about including Marshall and Ultimate Ears in some of your comparisons as well?

I am torn between the bose and the jbl. I'd also use it when watching movies. Which one would be the right choice for music and movies?

Am I crazy or the Sony doesn’t have instruments separations compared to them Jbl or them Bose? Am I crazy??
The rubber feet on the jbl is a problem. I have xtreme3 and rubber feet detaches.
IMO the Sony Ult 1 sounds the best of the three.
