Both of the cybertrucks look amazing. How can anyone not like this design, it looks like a work of art mixed with stealth fighter aircraft.
Can you make another video in direct sunlight? The garage light is ok but sunlight is where it will be seen most.
The video they made wrapping the door shows it in direct sunlight.
Very cool. Still like matte black wraps a bit more. I wonder how a white satin wrap would look. Ultimate storm trooper setup.
Matte black is sweet.
Best wrap on this would be an Army camouflage colour
matte black is super cool. I do think that will become the second most common color (after stock stainless) of cybertrucks once they are high volume though.
My M3 Performance is wrapped with 3M matte black metallic. I changed my logos to red with T E S L A rear. The metallic is subtly better than plain matte black. So if I wrap my CT it would be with this Stek black chrome. It really looks good. Or I leave it. Maybe I can ceramic coat it. That might keep it more clean.
That wrap looks awesome! Definitely feel it is an improvement over the bare metal IMO. Not having to deal with the constant oil marks on it is going to be huge for the owner. Hope they like it!
Stainless is way better than any wrap. Cybertruck is perfect the way it is.
After seeing them over and over again(design), to me it's now a lambo. I now love them.
That wrapped Cybertruck is beautiful. So clean... lovely. ❤ 🇬🇧
The wrapping makes it look more refined 😊
I really like it. Much more consistent in tone and may be protective against the things jackasses in the parking lot will do to it. Yes, we live in that kind of world. I live with polished aluminum on my vehicle and it is a bear to make it look consistent.
It's stainless steel, and a lot harder than the PPF. Only reason to use PPF here, is to make it less prone to fingerprints and to change color.
Look amazing after wrapping.
dude i love that wrap its so cool.
i love how it stays true to the cybertruck easthetic, , but it looks even more refined, clean and sci fi :)
and lots of people will be confused thinking its the bare metal when it drives by
also awesome color shift that makes it look black from some angles :)
fitment of the hood also seems perfect on the wrapped one, slightly better than the unwrapped one.
dream vehicle
CT looks absolutely awesome at its lowest height....that ppf is hot.
Robo Cop vehicle. Or a Mad Maxx desert machine w/steampunk wrap.
I placed my Founders Series edition order recently and live in San Leandro. I will bring my Cybertruck to you guys for window tinting. My Wife, wants me to get it wrapped, but I like the convenience of going to Quick Quack, so I believe a wrap is out of the question.
wrap it, happy wife, happy life. you already lucky she likes the CT and lets you have it. 🤣
Finally some proper video of Stek Black Chrome. Please make a 360deg video outside in the Sun.
That’s amazing that you have 2 in store.
Been looking for this. Would like to see the difference with fingerprints, which is easier to clean, etc.
Cybertruck is SO BAD ASS! They will sell so many of these things.
That wrap is sweet!
@OCDetailing, how much length did you need to wrap (PPF) it? Thank you for the videos
Cybertruck is the best thing that ever happened to wrap shops.
*Looks GREAT, I wasn't sure it would look better but I think it does when side by side!!! well done guys*
The wrap looks sweet!
Wow I love it
I wonder how the Wrap is going to hold up over time on the sharp edges... I guess it could start to peal because it will want to straighten out on these edges...
I am doing that wrap asap.
I'll gladly stick with Stock stainless, but how much better some of these aftermarket wraps choices are, it seems like a no brainier for Tesla to offer some more options. Especially if they already offer black and white. Adding other options is only free money for them. Most people just want to use the car straight from delivery, not send it off to get detailed.
Can't wait to see a Candy Neon Chrome CT, I know there's gonna be more than just a few. Wrapping this vehicle is just too easy. I can see people switching it up frequently and getting so much more creative.
This wrap is so sick. 🤤
yep that looks great!
satin matte chrome ppf looks so awesome.
The CyberTruck is anywhere between ugly to tolerable in its standard form, but wrap it in anything black and it becomes cool looking!
I want to see a two tone wrap. Could look good in black or white on top different color on bottom
What is the second song you use until the end of the video? It’s amazing!! ❤
That wrap would look great on my Model S. Model Syber
Nice, but what is the cost to do this and how long is it expected - warrantied to last?
The wrap has more dramatic shadows, but otherwise looks very similar, at least on camera.
I love that wrap and plan to get it on my car. And it does look better than the stock cyber truck metal. But I can't imagine putting an expensive wrap on any vehicle that is so similar to the stock look. Most people could probably walk by those in a parking lot and not realize they were different. Only reason they would is because it's a cybertruck and people will stop to examine it closer than other vehicles they walk past.
But unlike other vehicles, this thing is stainless steel under there. Doesn't need the protection that paint can. Main benefits of a wrap in this case are fewer finger prints and color change. That's a very high cost to finger print proof the vehicle with a material that will damage far easier than the steel underneath it.
Will it scratch though? On the regular stainless steel you can just buff scratches out.
so~~~~~~~~~cool
beautifull
The chrome looks sexy af! Coupled with tinted windows, there’s nothing nicer on the road
Love your videos. Can you put clear PPF on the Cybertruck to keep fingerprints off the stainless while still showing the beauty of the stainless? What are your thoughts?
How about removing the side mirrors and covering up the resulting holes? Has OCDetailing done the mirror removal yet? Seems like they would do a good proper tasteful job of it.
Matte black chrome is on point
nice tune
Sweet
I liked hearing this vid on the left side
I want to get matte black below the main body line and the chrome-black matte on the hood and side panels above the main line. Really want to stop the fingerprints but think the duo tone would look sick, especially at night.
What is the total cost to wrap in DynoChrome black and tint (as dark as legally allowed) the Cybertruck? Plus tax.
Compare both in the sunlight!
Do the top part black , two tone
that looks sick af
Anyone heard anything on Insurance premiums for Cybertruck?
I live in Las Vegas. I wonder how hot that truck will get sitting in a parking lot during the summer here, especially the matte black.
Put the cabin overheat protection setting on, and it will never get above 105F inside. Now.. touching the metal on the outside will be dangerous.. but let’s be honest.. any surface in that kind of sun is going to scorch your digits
Being reflective the CT will retain less heat than a conventional vehicle and like all Teslas the software will allow you to maintain a maximum temperature and of course, 5 minutes before you want to drive cool (heat) the inside of the car, especially the seats.
Hope it’s not rude to ask. How much it costs to get that done?
are you Canadian?

I'm waiting to see some powercoat options.
To powercoat, you need to remove the body panels right? To place in oven. I’m sure someone will do it, not sure when.
It's called the model X. 😂
It’s probably *possible* to powder coat a cybertrunk but it would be a nightmare. Powder coat has to be baked at 400°f so the panels would need to be removed from the truck which could be a major problem because the are structural. So who knows if it would ever go back together straight. Also the stainless is heat treated and then formed, I would imagine that there is a lot of residual stress in the material and if you heat it that much you may taco the panels or rune the heat treat. It would be a monumental pain in the A and you might total the truck!
cost?
PPF ❤
It would be better to choose a color that makes a better impression. Especially considering how much it cost.
Matte looks sick!
I thought the other one had racing stripes, LOL.
តំឡៃប៉ុន្មាន
Well shit, now I see exactly what I'm going to do the moment mine gets here.
What would this cost a customer?
How many hours did it take to wrap the Cybertruck over a traditional Car or Truck? Just curious.
It would be very easy
@@TheMagicJIZZ I didn't ask how easy, I just asked how much time did it take. The reason why is that Tesla wants to charge $6500 for their black wrap, which seems rather expensive. How much would a wrap shop charge for the same wrap if it takes less time due to the panels having no compound curves and rather large windows. It should theoretically take much less time to wrap a Cybertruck over a traditional Truck, SUV.
They’re the same yet different.
If Tesla had shown these at the unveiling event the reaction would have been very different, I think.
There were dozens of videos that came out weeks before the delivery event with wrapped Cybertrucks.
@@scientificapproach6578 unveiling was some 4 years ago.
The PPF one looks small on the outdoor shots
It's because the tinted one's suspension is raised.
Tesla genius. No paint, no cost to tesla then customers pay thousands $$$$$ to get it wrapped aftermarket. 😊
The fact that no one has wrapped one in a bright yellow or orange seems impossible. Will wait for one to get wrapped like an exotic.
Who will be the first to gold leaf it?
It's a nice wrap job, but I would rather take fingerprints than have to worry about damage to a wrap. That's the purpose of raw steel.
Too bad the Founders Edition etching is covered up by the wrap.
I usually don't care much about cars, much less trucks, but I have to admit... I'm a bit jealous that the Cybertruck is not coming to Europe😢
now why would you take both cars outside at night....please show a video of both cybertrucks under full sun
I actually would pay money to remove your wrap to get in in a real stainless steel look....( the whole thing of looking special)
film must be an semi-transparent !!! need original steel-glass reflection + tint
Satin matte chrome is nice
Looks like my fridge
Original stainless steel looks better imo
Don't see the point of the Matt black Chrome, but any wrapping makes the ugly stainless steel Cybertruck look way better looking.
Might as well just wrap a fridge
LIKE STAINLESS LOOK BETTER, EXCEPT FINGER PRINTS.
Sorry, Wrapping it takes away a lot of the Cybertrucks unique character and already Iconic look, which the raw metal on the truck gives.
Doesn’t look that much different.
Stainless is better
lol
Why not use matte PPF? Extra protection and better longevity
It is PPF
Can't wait till this satin garbage scratches
Anything has to be better than bare metal, IMHO.
охеренно
Karen magnet!
Pointless
I wouldn't wrap it, Cover the stainless?? Wraps are fruity, lol. Elon has to be laughing his ass off because not only does the cost and massive weight addition of paint and wraps NOT make 1st principles sense but he can pass it off to customers and let them waste money on it while being indemnified. I can't wait to see a 10 year old (knock on wood) Cyber all burnished 18 shades of raw stainless. 🚗
tesla is investing on social media to overhype this truck, like what they always do on every tesla cars.
Marketing genius!
they got carwow on their parking lot doing all kind of marketing videos,so yea, lots of money.
@@DoradoClaudia carwow doesnt get paid by tesla, hagerty and mkbhd also confirmed they didnt get a cent from tesla.
i mean the cybertruck video is the 4th most viewed mkbhd video ever at almost 19 million views, easy money for mkbhd that is.
