Thanks so much for this. I'm building my first antweight and it's also an undercutter. This answers the exact things I was wondering about with the motor. Going to make these same mods to the motor. How's BSOD doing?
Awesome video! Just realized Im using that exact same motor for my antweight, definitely gonna put in some of those changes! I thought that weird C slip seemed kinda small but I didn't realize it might just pop off.
Aaron Rosner I think the changes to the motor helped. The thread ends are much stronger and the thrust bearing protects the bearing there (I had one start to fail there previously).
TML ProductionsTM Thanks. I didn’t have much else to work with for weight reduction so the wheels seemed like a reasonable option. Others worried they might be too weak but they did fine at AVC.
This is the driver/builder of juggernaut from DARC. Great video with some good tips! The biggest change to my bot actually came from the fight we had, maybe next time it won’t be over in 15 seconds lol. Will you be attending the DARC tourney again at the end of the year?
huntercole7 glad you enjoyed it. Not sure I’ll be able to make it to DARC this year but maybe next summer. I’m planning to go to Motorama for my next competition.
Do you have a CAD model for the weapon motor you are using? I am trying to design a similar weapon, but I am having difficulty with the cut out on the weapon to slot a motor into.
So excited for this!

Great idea to cut down the wheels! Very innovative.

@@chrismiksovsky5871 Yeah. As long as the wheels are decent, your wheel guards will save them.
Great build videos very helpful and informative thanks for sharing 👍
Love the robot!
What esc are you using for the weapon motor?

For the insert do you recommend any specific sets of screws to screw it down or will any screws work

Jay Ingram yes. Shoot me an email.
