  • Come along as I makeover this vintage train case. These small travel cases are a wonderful size for so many things. Let’s add some paint and make it pretty!

this turned out great!!! so pretty. Have you tried holding your camera horizontal? I find that the different platforms have varying orientations that work best. TH-cam seems to be horizontal. Blessings on your adventures! Was nice chatting.

Thank you! I will try the horizontal orientation.

What was the first white layer you applied?

The first layer was Slick Stick by Dixie Belle. It is a primer used for surfaces that are smooth. It provides a nice surface for the paint to be applied to.

They are Everyday Run-Ons from Home Accents. I found them at a garage sale.

    What finish did you use?

I used Dixie Belle Gator Hide for the finish. It has held up perfectly through many vacations!

wheres the video where you relined the inside of this train case? i cant find it?

I was not able to do it as a video due to some technical issues. But, it was a matter of cutting the material to size, ironing the edges under and glueing it in place. It has held up very well. Thanks!
