To be honest, I really like the built-in crowd of a restaurant (even though the Pie can be dead at times on a Monday night). I don't want to be responsible for advertising or drawing a crowd, charging a cover, etc. I'd prefer to just show up and play for whoever happens to be there, with a few friends in the audience from time to time. Jeff and I have really enjoyed playing for the world via TH-cam the past few years, so the actual crowd in attendance seems less significant.

That was freaking excellent! I love this version from The Sundays, and I know it's not easy to execute, specialy if you have a guy on the backing vocals. But Mike delivered it just perfecty, nailed every single note! What a performance guys, it was an honor to hear it.

In all fairness, The Pie should be giving you a gig on at least a Thursday. You guys are head-and-shoulders above most live entertainment I've ever seen in bars/restaurants/coffee houses.

Hey Mike, I just heard your cover of Africa which led me to hear U-2's still can't find, which then required that I hear twenty more to confirm how really great you are! Covers are sensitive to many people of not cloning the original which is not what a cover is. It is owning your own version while not making a mess of it. Yours are simply amazing and you cover so much diversity, kind of like Jimmy LaFave does but, while I love LaFave's work and always will, you have great pipes and guitar skills. Keep em' coming brother!
