This match will go down in history, a comeback from losing at home 0 - 2, a depleted squad 9 or 10 injuries, paul pogba with a red card and unable to play, and we were basically playing our academy team.
This is a story we will tell to generations to come. This match has made me proud to be a manchester united fan. I cant see how ole wont get the job, he needs the job and we all want him to have the job and i am sure all the players want him to get the job.
If we want to compete with the likes of liverpool and city we need to get players.
Its far deeper. Since SAF left in 2013, we have been on a downward spiral both in England and Europe. Bad decisions after bad decisions all lead to the worst of the lot in Mourinho. We were down and out and he was ready to bury us in to the dirt with his 'No European heritage' comments last year.
Then came Solskjaer, took this supposedly over rated squad and just got them playing football again. Won our first game, then our second and then a lot. Conducted himself brilliantly in the press, got the players believing, and most importantly the fans. The PSG game first leg. Very even in the first half until Martial and Lingard came off. Went 2 down by the end of the night and were written off entirely but that didn't take any hope away from the fans and we all had that bit of belief going in to 'that night in Paris'.
The rest is history...
