    What really bothered me hearing Ke's story is that if his work on Everything Everywhere All at Once is any indication, we as a film loving public were robbed of 20 years of potentially incredible performances.

    I think the beauty of this roundtable is how all the actors left their egos behind and opened up to being vulnerable. Talking about their insecurities. And I think this was in part thanks to ke huy quan, who from the beginning set the tone for how the dynamic of the conversation was going to be. His humble and very down to earth way of telling about his life experience, made the atmosphere relaxed and made everyone feel in a safe space to talk not only about the success or situations inside the sets, but also about the fears and moments that influenced their life. Also the interviewer takes part of the reward for this incredible interview, because he was able to navigate topics that can be uncomfortable and delicate for people in a very open but yet respectful way. • @AS-rr9km
      @AS-rr9km ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@CiviTac It wasn’t about his body. Look up what happened to Brendan Fraser man…he’s been through the ringer. Ex-wife drained his accounts. He was blacklisted afterwards and couldn’t get acting jobs anywhere. He tried to speak up about harassment, is why he was blacklisted. All of that during the time his wife was draining his bank accounts from every movie, stunt, and determination he’s ever had in his life. Hopefully now, he can heal and begin his new life the way he wants to. She didn’t “steal” the money, the courts allowed her to take almost all of it. California had very bad laws back then for men in his position, and he wasn’t properly protected from it happening either. The worst case scenario in a divorce, happened to him. Along with worst case scenario for his career as well. After that…there isn’t much left. That can really break you. However, there is probably much more to his story. I hope he gets his own film made about his life & career. It would be magnificent.
