China is fast changing and climbing the technology ladder. Even beggars get contributions through QR codes. You can see this at 25:49.

These people are all scammers, please don't believe them, most of them have several houses.

@@zxxxx1111haha 😂in indonesia too, there is even a village that full of professional beggars. they earn much more than minimum wages. and in indonesia there is more annoying pest: parking man, illegal, lucrative, doesnt cost anything to start earning. you dont pay then get ready for scratches on your car. 😂

The morning in Chongqing is not yet fully awake, but the streets begin to fill with the quiet buzz of preparations.
The video camera moves across the scene at a leisurely morning pace, capturing the city just waking up!
The video continues to film the flow of people passing by, including those cleaning the streets, those doing their early shopping, and those playing cards in the street ….
You are filming the Dongshuimen Bridge, known as a model of innovative materials, as well as scenic tourist spots!✨
Previously, in the description of this Chongqing video, it was mentioned that China is largely cashless, with most transactions done via QR payments, even for beggars.
This time, your experience was captured on camera, and we witnessed it firsthand.
This time as well, it was a video work that piqued our interest.☝️💫

Instead of shopping or visiting tourist attractions, it's nice to take slow walks to see the lifestyles of the people in the city. The streets are constantly being swept as the Market Regulators (officers in blue with red arm bands) are always checking to keep the city clean. From Dongshuimen Bridge, we can see the Hugang Guild House and the old Yangtze Cableway which are tourist attractions. We can also see the tallest building in Chongqing up on the hill behind the Guild House. Chongqing is also known as the Mountain City as most of the buildings are built on hilly terrain. I did a lot of walking in Chongqing and enjoyed seeing the city on foot. I also did interesting walks in Chengdu and Mianyang. I'll share a compilation/summary of Sichuan walks if this Chongqing walk video is well received by viewers. Thanks Yosh and Iku for your comments.

Going to Thailand (18 Aug) for a vacation with wife. Looking forward to record something interesting to share. Have scheduled some videos to post while I’m away. Yosh and Iku, thanks for your support as always.

It looks like a city of great contrasts - rich and poor. Sorry to hear that your dinner wasn't good!

Yes, this is a city of contrasts. The rich are very rich but the poor are not that poor. Inflation is low and people at the bottom can get-by on low salary. Private hire car rides in Singapore (Grab) cost S$15 to over S$40 during peak hours. Private hire rides in Chongqing and Chengdu (DiDi) cost around S$2 to S$3 even during peak hours. Road sweeper's salary of around 2.5k yuan (S$460) is sufficient to get-by.
Chongqing is the home of the famous Mala Hotpot. We had high expectations, but that restaurant failed us.
