Namaste 🙏 Here is a new subscriber from India!. What a beautiful work! I appreciate you . If possible can you please tell what are the things you have used? Thank you
Hi! For this project you need to get: clay (in this case I used a low temperature white clay 1040°) and a low temperature glossy white glaze 1040°) Remember it requires being fired in a kiln for ceramics!
You can use kiln stilts they have metal high fire prongs to lift it off the kiln shelf. Or you can just wax a part of the bottom before glazing and wipe away a bit of glaze to keep it from sticking.
Hola!
Seems like standard ceramics clay, the kind that has to be kilned. More specifically, it's hard to tell, but it seems similar to Wonder White, which is what I use
Hi! It's recommended to start with low temperature clays, they are cheaper and easier to shape and fire. The range of colors for painting and glazing available is wider. But it's also true that the pieces are less resistant. So I recommend quickly switching to a medium temperature clay
Hi, it's necessary to remove the glaze from the base (I used wax so this was not necessary) But you can also glaze the piece completely and fire it on some wire supports, which will give it greater impermeability and therefore durability. I could not include absolutely all the steps in a 60 second video, the maximum time that Shorts allow, the idea was to show a simple project that everyone can do
Hola!

Did you use a kiln? It looks perfect
Good job 🎉
Is it baked or dried by keeping under the sun? And how you addede the glaze?
This is air dry clay and takes a day or two to dry. The varnish is used to protect the painting and it is applied using a paint brush
I want to know too
@@sohagaming1824 to uplift the leaf she added a clay roll, but my q is that will the roll also not dry with the leaf and stick to it?
@@sohagaming1824no it is not. She baked it to a bisque state wich means it is real ceramic
Wow❤

Any pottery supply will have the clay and glazes. You will also need a kiln.
ok but how do you kiln it if it's completely covered in glaze? what's the trick?
I've the same question... 😭
You can use kiln stilts they have metal high fire prongs to lift it off the kiln shelf. Or you can just wax a part of the bottom before glazing and wipe away a bit of glaze to keep it from sticking.

How to make ceramic dough
what type of clay did you use?
Seems like standard ceramics clay, the kind that has to be kilned. More specifically, it's hard to tell, but it seems similar to Wonder White, which is what I use
Can you teach please ceramic dough for plates
That's pottery clay, not dough. It must be fired in a kiln, and the color is a glaze. It is fired again and produces that glass-like finish.
How do we dry after making the desired shape??
How do we dry it after making the sculpture?
How did you do the glaze firing with the entire dish coated in glaze?

Hi! it's pink glaze applied by immersion, after being fired at high temperature it turns into that shiny pink glass layer that you see at the end
Is that water with the sponge on the secomd step? And is it better not to wet the clay when forming the shape?
Hi, yes, it's a slightly damp sponge, there is no problem in moistening the clay at this stage, but not too much!
@@UmiCeramics thank youu for answering! hope you make more tutorial videos, they’re very helpful 😊
Is that air dry clay
Didn't you fire it?
would you need a kiln for this?
Yes
