Not excusing anything at all, but all the bins were full to overflowing and the gusts of wind was blowing more rubbish out of them. That is NOT the cause of discarded tackle items in various areas tho. Some bundles of line had been wedged into gaps 😡
Hello Dave 👋 Hope you are well buddy Thank for bringing us another well informed videos really enjoyed the way you do your videos Dave always lots of interesting information tight lines buddy🎣👍 See you on the next one
Thank you... I've been getting close to a win in recent matches so the pairs win was a bonus. With Almost 30 anglers fishing each week, those matches are getting harder to win 👍
Thank you for identifying that. I'm definitely no bird expert but thinking back, it's beak was probably too short for what I thought it was 😁 I will add that to the description if you don't mind.
With the start of that storm coming in, the wind chill was quite bad. As I stated on the video, you need to be comfortable and warm to enjoy your session.... The air temp was 5c with the wind more like 1c... 😉
Thanks for watching and commenting. It's certainly has had an effect on the tidal flow. You notice it more if you fish the Gorleston promenade beach. It has still produced some decent catches tho, Hounds and Rays throughout the warmer months.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes I should have mentioned that , sorry. If you are expecting bigger fish (Smoothounds) a drop net is a good idea. Saying that, if your on a 70lb shock leader and 40-60lb hook link, you should be able to bring them up carefully. Not ideal tho for the welfare of the bigger fish 👍
Love them I used to spend my afternoons sitting on pier and used to take breadcrumbs with me they will eat from your hand if you can stay still enough. Great episode
Hugely watchable as ever David - and timely reminder about discarded tackle … there are bins on the pier ffs!

Yes you are correct, raining all day Saturday, very cold.great upload, kind regards Mike, Gorleston.

Nice watch, I do enjoy fishing off there.
It's a nice comfortable venue when the weather plays ball 👍
Cheers Dave again, spot on. All the best from G.Y
Thanks Carl 👍

@ form is temporary but class is permanent👌👍
Good video thanks. I think the little bird with the elastic round it’s leg was a turnstone. Looking forward to the next one.

@ No worries, glad to help.
Nice place to fish no matter what time of year, especially with top tackle and bait shop nearby. But why boots and clobber..?

That new harbour wall destroyed the fishing of that jetty

Another good watch will be having a go on the pier soon . I'm guessing pulling larger fish up the pair wall is tricky ?

Rougher the better there I find and if you can stick it...and in the mouth of river 😊...cod up to 5lb 😊
Definitely. Most of the time that area always has somebody fishing it. Heavier leads and stronger gear can bring rewards 👍
The little birds that are running around are not oyster catchers but are Turnstones in there winter feathers
Cheers . Another subscriber pointed it out as well. Proves I'm no bird expert. I've added into the description, thanks for letting me know 😁

Great episode
They should take the crap home with them they brought it
Exactly..... Boils my blood. It's not just piers either. Most beaches have signs of anglers litter.
