oh boy, now I know how to play the new Sentinels of the Multiverse Definitive Edition expansion, Rook City Renegades! :D All this time, I had no idea whatsoever!
Love this video, definitely going to pass it around to some places that don't know the game well or play it often. Hope we get one for Disparation when it comes out!
Love watching these videos. Anything produced by Greater than Games has actual quality assurance. That said, I know why they skipped forward with the Chairman. Holy moly, that one feels like you are grinding your way through an entire corrupt organization. Perfect connection between flavor and gameplay.
Very nice display and I enjoy how it was displayed and described. The only sad thing is me waiting to get my copy. Feels like I have been waiting years
At our table, instead of tracking how much HP a non-character target has left, we put tokens on to track how much damage they've taken. We think it's generally faster that way.
3:55 it’s worth noting that the event and critical event villain cards which modify the way they play also have dates on them. A handy way of setting up both the timeline for the campaign mode as well as the pool of heroes you’d have available as time progresses.
I just spent like 5 minutes trying to think of what the small version of a "multiverse" would be, and thought I was really clever for coming up with the term "uni-verse"...
Yeah, the game rules say that those phases are done in an area, no matter on which card. But i get it, i think i've played 70+ games and i'd be surprised if i did one 100% correctly. ^^
Hello! Hoping you can answer my question. If I have the definitive version I should get this expansion and NOT the rook city and infernal relics that’s on sale currently on the site? My understanding, like definitive version is that some of the heroes are changed/tweaked etc and the villains too? Also, amazing play through production!
That's right. Rook City & Infernal Relics are for the original version of the game, which is very different. The only Definitive Edition expansion (right now) is this one.
Recreating all this in rendered assets was a huge amount of work, this is wild.
Excellent video going through the expansion, setup, and gameplay!

It's so Christopher that you sneaked a couple Disparation reveals in there, lol.
Where? :o
@@4757joshua2 Starting at 4:33 we hadn't seen Chrono's deck back or F6 Wraith before now.
@@JeysieC The Chrono Ranger deckback was shown on the main backerkit page for Dispiration. (Although the quality is probably better here.)
Was that a stealth reveal of Definitive Edition Freedom Six Wraith at 4:44?
A wonderful display, and love the lighting choices
I love this! I’ve played all but this villain in this expansion… and now I know what to expect! I’m excited!

Iced up the whole rat ❤
Three animations look very clean and very good

Did he really Ice up a whole Rat.
What an inside joke. . .
Great video. Love the Disparation reveals in there. Please do more Sentinel Spotlights as well.

Sooo good! Thanks! I noticed I was playing the operative wrong by completing all Chairman's phases first, instead of alternatively

Superb!

I like the bigger divider cards included in this set, could you please give us replacements for the core game to calm my OCD 😅.
