Other notes: This was not my original plan for 1st Tuesday, but I decided on this because I noticed the P-50 at the high school Bill filmed years ago had been replaced by a 2001-130, and since this one had not been filmed yet, I figured I better get it before it was too late.
This beast is on 480V, and was very loud, though still not quite as loud as the Grand Ridge P-50 was. That will always be #1 for me.
At the end, you can hear Shorewood's T-128s doing a full 3 minute alert.

Yesterday we had a warning this siren wasnt heard unfortunately, i think they might be takin’ it down. :(
I live in Joliet and Noticed the P-50 by the West Campus of JTHS got replaced. Someone filmed the new siren as it was being installed. Not sure if it's on TH-cam or not. But I saw on the Joliet Patch that the Sirens Rotator Broke and the Mayor decided to have it replaced. I'm thinking why couldn't they just fix the Rotator if it was Broken. Didn't necessarily have to replace it with a New Siren.
I emailed the people right after I figured out it was replaced and they said it was at some place being fixed
