On another you tube someone said that the first gpx4500s that start with serial number 100 are the ones to have because they go deeper than the other 4500s and deeper than any other detector including a 5,6 or 7000. Does anyone have anymore information or opinions on this. My one starts with serial number 100 and goes very deep. Too deep for the beach. Haven't taken it to Kalgoorlie yet. I had another 4500 ten years ago and it was excellent .
Viewing a couple of the comments below, one needs to understand everything is relative. Here in the states, I know of 3 modded GPXs that pickup a .5 gram test nugget (lead) at 16" very clearly where a 7000 would barely hear it. And this was done with people who knew their 7Ks! I love my 4500 and found abit of gold with it
@@micksgold4878 Then make a video. This is the best comparison video I've seen so far. All those nugget tests are worthless because there's no standards. At least a 10 or 50 cent or nickle or ring is something anything can compare to their own detector. Also air tests are a lot better because ground varies significantly.
Hi Woody I have had a GPX 4000 and enjoyed it but sold it while I just couldn't use it due to work taking over my life. I am now in a position to enjoy life again and have been thinking of getting a small loan out on a GPX 6000. I have also considered the GPZ and a GPX 5000 with multiple Coils. Can you give me some advice on what you would choose and why please, thank you in advance.
Hi, My advice is hire a 5000 and a 6000 and get the shop to offset the hire costs as a discount on a new detector, I have not used a 6000 but have been told both good and bad. I had a 7000 and I disliked it, also had a 2300 and the modded 4500 was better.
Found a 13.3 gram nugget at 18 inches gpx 4500 no mods in enhance mode but it was only a whisper how many over the years have walked over it as it as on a thrased area in an old heap worn smooth with detectorists boots next to a dig hole .elite coil 14 .
I would like to ask. If buying first detector. The modification for a 7000 or a 4500 is better. I am going to get a second detector at the same time. I am looking at the 4500 and the 1000. I am going to have a play with the new toys then soon after when I get a handle on it sending the detector if it's ok to do the job. So when purchase which way should I go.
lol . complains about interference when there is another detector sitting 10 feet behind him and a vehicle parked 20 feet away , probably has a phone in his pocket too with the WiFi turned on just to be sure wtf.....
Would like to see a real sweep test. Comparing a GPZ7000 at AU$9,499 to a GPX4500 at AU$3,490+$1800 for your mod for a total of $6300. Thats a big outlay. Gold today 13 july 2019 is at $64.67 you would need to find nearly 28 grams to pay for it. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying you are conning people but I am far from convinced that your mods have been proven in a real world application. A better test would be if your assistant placed the target in one of the pipes and you did a sweep to determine where the target was. There's more money to be made off prospectors that prospectors make out of prospecting.
Gpx5000 perform far better than Gpz7000. Don't spend your money on gpz7000 it doesn't worth the price, don't waste your money. Buy gpx5000 it is the best. Of course I have both and so I know better
7000 weighs a ton. Only used a borrowed one once, never again . 4500 any day.

What is the preferred dish for the GPX 5000 device to search for burials?
Depends on size of object and depth.
Do you recommend coiltek 22 plate?
I do not recommend anything. @@karimrazak3798

I had to stop watching at 1:45 mins, not gold targets and not swinging, what the!
Hi can you tell me what brand 8” coil you used here please
That coil is a GP Minelab coil.

Woody, Thanks for getting your video's audio so we can hear what you're saying! Keep them coming!
A tip : watch series on Flixzone. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Gannon Malakai Definitely, have been using Flixzone} for years myself :D
Nothing beats the Zed for all round performance. Sure, you might lose some sensitivity on
Sim Klay , can I ask Zed is a Sed metal detector brand , just asking as , is it a Pi metal detector, not heard of it . 👍
what kind of device is this?
Good afternoon, I'm about to buy a 7000 gpz, do you recommend 14 "standard or 19" coil ??? Thanks a lot
Stick with 14
19 inch is not worth it.
Yeah, 14 is the go.

Always good to see Detector/Coil tests/comparisons. Just an observation, I think the Elliptical Coil being used at 16.10 is a 15 x 10 not a 17 x 11.

I detect with my phone on my pocket at times. You are missing the point
You don’t say if you are in normal or difficult . Makes a big difference.
you would never detect in normal and deep in a million years in WA
Whos best deep coil for gpx 5000 ?

Same as in fishing - - - lures have caught more fisherman than fish.
Please don't waste your money on goz7000, all said about it is a lie. The gpx4500 or gox5000 always outperform it. Good luck to you all.
Very intresting, with x-coils this detector can beat any detector in the World
A 4500 is just as good as a z on depth, as long as you have it set up for the conditions and know what you are doing. The z is turn on and go.
100% I do not like the way the 7000 holds people to ransom on expensive coils.
You can’t beat the 4500 if you know what your doing
