Some tutorials are clear as mud, you have given precise, easy to follow, detailed instructions. You did an excellent job, keep up the good work THANK YOU
Thank you for these clear and complete step by step instructions. I've watched several other book safe videos, but this three part series was the easiest to follow and gave the best final product. Thank you for your time hard work to share this skill!
Your book safes are awesome. Yes, you can do it simpler with a cutter and some glue but you really show how to take it to the next level and make it into a really nice gift.
Yes, if you have a book that you would like hollowed out it can be sent to me. There are restrictions though so shoot me an email for details and to coordinate. RefinedPallet@gmail.com

I have a whole collection of readers digest condensed stories....too cool!
Ohhhhhhhh I'm green with jealousy for sure. Those little books are like gold aren't they. Cool stories and beautiful colors on the covers too
seems like he is making it complicated
whew, thanks for sparing Paddington.
On average, how long does it take to make a book safe? (Excluding the time it takes the glue to dry) Some people say 30 minutes, others say 2 hours.
Leave it up a guy to use Power tools to make a book safe. LOL I made one using just a box cutter, glue & water. :)
Making a hollow book cutting each layer by hand with a razor takes a lot of patience, so my hat's off to you. I hope it turned out for you!
I've tried the x-acto knife way. It takes forever and it never comes out that nice. With a box cutter it might look even worse
I am going to be using a jig saw as I dont have access to a scroll saw. What type of blade do you recomend for cutting through the book?
What kind of specifications am I looking for in a scroll saw to do this project?
Thanks!
Nice! What are the extra steps for slip covers? Wouldn't you just set it aside to preserve it?
Thanks for taking the time to make a video!
Is there anything you could use other thing except an exato knife?
Any knife that's not serrated will work I think
I didnt know my book was dangerous
That's what I was thinking... LOL
im going to use this to hide my weed lol
still selling them? can i send you a book to do?

RefinedPallet my friend, you still doing these? i would live to purchase one for a friend
you dont want to start your safe less than half way through the book
There are no NECESSARY extra steps for a book with a dust jacket.
Sorry to burst bubbles. But, with all the videos of "book safes"
Thieves also watch youtube! My belongings were stolen from one such booksafe :(
It is pronounced MOD Podge not MODGE Podge. Unless you find it too difficult to say
