Hey man I just got my first javelin for training this summer! I would love to buy your programs to train (velocity and strength), but after spending hundreds on a jav I can’t afford $400 worth of programs. Any chance you have a discount code or a combo deal that could make them cheaper? Moneys tight in college but I really think you know what you’re talking about and could help me take my throwing to the next level. Anyway thanks for sharing your story with us, I know your experiences helped you learn a lot and it shows!
Only if u could have got knowledge about mobility in 2017-2018.,a different story altogether…. Anyways hats off to your struggles coach, everything is paying off lately…In a different role now
Why do ligament injuries mainly occur during throwing? Is it due to poor technique or mechanical failure? Why do you think you injured it, and what would you do today to minimize those injuries as much as possible?
usually its an overuse injury, poor technique is common but it wont tear right away, it takes alot of high intensity reps without the proper technique and physical preparation. I tore mine because i used an active throwing arm and lacked mobility. Learn and understand the throw and how to train it is essential to avoid it
@@JackedJavelinI've been training javelin for 8 months. It's common to end up with shoulder and elbow pain on some days. When that happens, I try to rest enough. And of course, in these 8 months, I have been improving my technique. It happens less frequently now. But I feel that the key is rest and being aware of when to stop training.
@@JackedJavelini really appreciate your response. I like your long videos where you talk and share experiences. I am from Chile, so I listen and try to learn English.

it is because throwing overhand is an unnatural movement for the body.

@@paullohmayer9521 monitoring fatigue is huge, just make sure you are using a passive throwing arm
