I used to live in Mt. Shasta for a very long time. I don't know about the whole big foot thing.. But UFOs became so common place we learned how to reroute our driving trips to make sure our batteries weren't hit with that notorious EMP on the side of the road to leave us stranded for a good half an hour+. These things had even come down into neighborhoods during the middle of the day. I have seen this happen on numerous occasions through out my years there. All experiences were with other people witnessing as well.
Side Note: Seems like your mystery girl was arrested for trying to get her weird evidence again. Jail might be the last place she would be safe, especially if the police are as sus as they usually are in places like that.
Strand: "Woah. Hear those voices? We're so close."
Greg: "Yeah. We better turn around and go back."

Even if these voices were from people, you don't want to meet people in weird places like these. Especially if one were to take in Amy's account, they could be dangerous... I completely agree with Greg on this one. People are often scarier than ghosts.

I love the hellier series I couldn't wait for season 2 now it's here and it's extremely good very well laid out and produced considering how mysterious and chaotic the subject is your dealing with ,I'm sure it can be stressful,taxing,and a bit scary doing these series but as a fan it is an amazing watch..love you guys wish your team the best.

I have seen so much I'm living in Somerset Ky now. I seen a ufo in 2004 hovering over the lake in Bronston Ky. I have nerver forgotten it can still she it like it was yesterday.

So when you got to the bit about the 37th parallel I took a look at my "strange stuff" map and noticed something. On this map, I've marked Bohemian Grove, Dulce Base, the M shaped Cave near Area 51 that Kenny Veach found and subsequently disappeared looking for again, *They're ALL extremely close to the 37th parallel* I didn't actually realise until knowing that!

Haven't finished the episode yet, not sure if they mention it, but there's a book called The 37th Parallel by Ben Mezrich which analyzes all of the happenings along the 37th parallel, it's for some reason the most paranormal active spot on the planet. I believe Skinwalker Ranch is also pretty close to the line as well, might be another to add to the list.
Has anyone considered that Amy may have been seriously under the influence of meth? It's what they do, go obsessively nuts with a subject until they wear themselves out. She may have knowledge but her behavior and ultimate prison visit are suspect.
I live in Somerset and have crossed paths with her before....I can’t confirm that Amy’s claims were false but I can safely assume they were a bit.....embellished? However some of the things she told them have truth to them and there is most definitely something weird about this town
Yes that is what I thought right away! Now she is in jail along with her family members. One charge was possesion ! But when he went there it was super scary!

I believe in the paranormal, that’s a fact. I have had a good amount of experiences on my own.
Having said that... I’m a lot more like Dana, I find hard to just believe. I need more data than just someone’s word... pictures and video can be tampered with... and I’m loving this series so much but at the same time is so XFlily that I’m just sitting here going for the ride but not really believing 100%...
Although! That idea that everything is connected is something that I have always believed and won’t stop believing.

I'm not sure if anyone else has commented about this, but around 30:00 in the video speaking of the beings in the Mojave desert with wands. There is a small town out there called Indian Springs with a military base. Many strange things have happened out there with people seeing very tall, slender beings that glow (presumably from some kind of suit they wear) that carry wands that are similar to a pencil in size and shape but are white. The wands can immobilize, or kill. Some kind of electric weapon used for protection.

I lived in Pikeville until May 2017 and am currently living in Somerset. I am not easily startled, but all of this is hitting home sooooo hard.

It is great to see Tyler Strand really come out from the background and show what he knows right off the bat in this episode. Other than following the coordinates I wasn't sure what his contribution was to the mission but now he's starting to show who he is and boy is he smart! I love listening to him tell this story of Venus. He's just been elevated for me however I do not think his impetuous nature serves the group well sometimes. He barrels into things without observation first and it's irritating 👽💚

Just a thought, but I listen to a lot of Bigfoot encounters and something I've heard often, more than the baby crying noises is the sound like "a woman screaming " "sounded like a woman being murdered " "screams like a woman being raped/murdered "
Probably a fox, i believe the females sound exactly like that when they are ready to mate. Bobcats sound like babies in distress. Coyotes also make pretty terrifying sounds. So, no Bigfoot, just regular animals being terrifying.

I think before Crowley there was Dr. John Dee. There is a drawing( I want to say Edward Kelly’s work) of John Dee conjuring up a classic alien in a burst of light. Kelly was to John Dee what Jack Parsons was to Crowley. Those last two performed a major ritual in the Area 51 proximity before the phenomenons started there

I Tell u after watching these, I'll never set foot in a cave , I live in the damn state this is going on, I'm in central ky, & I tell u I carry , have others w me, & I always second guess going into the woods or caves or hikes, camping etc because of this documentary,, one of my all-time favorite documentaries because it's literally in my back yard, but also just such great work, editing, , just what a awesome thing u all have done & shown here.
It's safer that way anyway. And if you go hiking get those cool reflective things you can put on you for easy spotting from above

I do have one thats not going to be really long that I could tell real quick. Was with a few friends at a cave about an hour away from where I live. The cave took about 4 hours to go all the way through from the entrnace we entered to our exit location but on this night we were only in there for about an hour maybe a lil longer and turned around and came back out.. We kept hearing voices all the way through the cave but it was common for other cave explorers like us to be in there..Although it seemed we were chasing the voices as though everytime we got close in thought they were just around the corner we never seen anyone.. Had an extremely creepy feeling all night that night as though we were being watched by an unseen force, like we all had that feeling n were ready to turn around.. We had taken several flashlights each but we were down to 2 n four of us in the cave having to share that night to see to get out of there..Its like all of our flashlights were quitting on us n they all had new batteries. The scariest thing that night though was we had stopped n taken a break n i was going to light a cigarette but couldnt get my lighter to work at all. Figured okay its either out of fluid or it had gotten wet because there were many spots in the cave where we had crossed little streams of water n we all had wet clothes that night.. But anyway I had given up on that lighter n I asked my friend to borrow a lighter and i tossed mine but i swear on everything as that lighter was flying through the air when i tossed it, it was lit in the air.. The lighter would not light at all but it lit by itself in the air as being thrown n hits the ground n goes out.. It was the freakiest thing n made us make our way out that cave that night a lil quicker lol Got more stories but dont have time at the moment as i am fixing to leave for my aunts funeral but figured id tell a quick one..

I hope at the end of this season by the summation video, they will have noticed and address it. If they dont however i do hope that they read the comments because its super ironic they thought they heard sometjing or voices and then we see the eye shine. Makes ya wonder....

It appears to be eye shine with such a small space between the illumination but could also be something else reflecting; however it is only there in a few frames
Hey! Do you guys know about that one youtuber that disappeared in the desert after he came across a "M" shaped mine opening? He came across it after hiking around. At the time he didn't have his sidearm after feeling uneasy standing near it while he described that it radiated a hum or a low buzz.

Listen to any old miner stories. They all talk about tricksters in mines. I believe that this conversation was already talked about in season one. You also have stories about underground alien bases in dulce New Mexico, on tribal land. There's also a place in Utah that's called "Skinwalker Ranch"

Playing at .25 speed... I see two dots that illuminate at different times. Looks like little rocks. That cave is special. There are lots of magnetic minerals in those cave rocks (hence the paranormal activity). Could just me a few magnet rocks, or magnetic ore in the wall.

ORRRR it's a mammal that normally roams around at night. Their eyes glow because of a layer called the tapetum lucidum just behind the retina. This layer reflects light because that's exactly what it's meant to do. Nocturnal animals have good night vision because whatever the photo-receptor cells in their retina doesn't catch, hits the tapetum lucidum.
It's not paranormal, it's just normal.

I love this entire series, but wanted to present a possible scenario. The woman, Amy, could be prone to psychosis and paranoid delusion. She could have stumbled upon a very real, terrible and awful case of domestic violence or some other type of terrible activity in her community. That activity could be completely mundane in nature, with no supernatural element, perhaps being committed by a well-respected person about town. This witnessing triggers a state of psychosis and paranoia wherein she interprets what she witnessed as being part of some supernatural conspiracy. I know this is a really sad and unfortunate interpretation of events, and I don't mean to cast Amy in a negative light, or the investigation as a whole, not at all. I just wanted to present a scenario that explains events in a mundane way.

I’m definitely like Strand. I would’ve left right then and there. Lol. But I get the fear, and the hesitation. It is spooky.
I personally grew up in Somerset,Ky and never saw any in that town. But during a festival on Terrapin hill in KY i saw MULTIPLE cigar shaped crafts slowly circling the festival at a very high altitude. You could barely see them without looking very closely. The only reason I saw them was because I laid back on the grass and was just looking in the sky for an hour or more. At that point I wasn’t even thinking about telling anyone else or videoing. But i wish I had. It still shocks me to this day that no one else had brought them up. I think everyone was more focussed on the music and partying though. I remember being on mushrooms and thinking. I wonder if they are just up their watching everyone get groovy haha. Or listening somehow and grooving. I was so in my own head when I saw them and I wish I wasn’t so i would have told someone or got proof. It’s like at that time I wasn’t even thinking about getting evidence. I want to go back and see if they visit that festy again.

In one of the earliest episodes of the 1950s television series superman ( maybe even the pilot) there are encounters with small creatures (child size) that surface from underground. They are harmless---- whatever they touch ends up glowing (they are nocturnal) . The people they encounter are terrified and hostile . There is a particularly disturbing dog attack scene l remember 60 years later. Superman rescues them ( of course) and sends them back to their subterranean origins. It might have Mole People in the title . Not only was it a memorable episode ( not as corny as later ones) but also a challenge to maybe film and even watch (in black and white) as most of the action takes place at night. I thought of this as soon as I started watching this series and believe there might be something in our collective conscience ( at least in the 'west ') . Just a thought and go watch the old Superman episode if you can find it

Honestly Amy just seems like someone not in her right mind who has accidentally stumbled across a criminal ring of some kind. These doesn't seen supernatural to me, just one of the many horrible, dark, evil criminal things you find in places where no one looks in the world. When you start asking rural people if they know of strange activity nearby, you never know if they will talk about bigfoot, or the local drug cartel. It's sketchy and scary, I'm hoping season 3 moves away from this and back into alien and terry wriste stuff. I'm nervous!

I wonder why nobody ever mentions the big obelisk in Pt Pleasant. I'm pretty sure it's a monument to Chief Cornstalk. I lived just down the road from Pt Pleasant for a long time. The whole area is interesting.
