I was there Friday June 11, 1993 on opening day when I was 20 years old. I went back and saw the movie almost every day for the rest of the summer. One of the best movies ever made.

The tv spots were great. “What kind of park is this?” “Like none you’ve ever seen.” “Jurassic Park, an adventure 65 million years in the making. Directed by Steven Spielberg.”. All everyone talked about was they have to make a sequel.
Laura dern was hot and still is I’m so glad there all returning back too the franchise for dominion can’t wait I wasn’t even born when the first movie came out I was born in 95 and still my all time favourite movie

I'm one of those luckiest person who experienced this in theatres as a child my jaw was dropped from aww.

A movie premiere in DC? I lived there for awhile and while it’s an amazing city, it seems like a strange place to premiere a film.
Probably had to do with all the Smithsonian museums that fill the mall. It's a haven for the sciences
