The algorithm sent me your way for looking at your table video, but now I am watching your other videos. This looks great.

Thanks Dave! I just played this game again yesterday … a couple of times and I am reminded how fun it is. Everybody loves the goats.

We also recent got this game. We were shocked at how much strategy is in this game. Great review.

It’s got some good depth for such a little game! Thank you!

Totally agree. If you don’t pay attention to what others are doing you may inadvertently give away the win. If you get stuck to much on an original strategy you may give up to many good rolls. Great game!!

Nice review guys! This game seems to have very strong similarities to the classic “can’t stop” but with less downtime and a more concise playtime.

I’ve never heard of “Can’t stop.” There’s definitely not a lot of downtime in Mountain Goats.

Thx! Sometimes the simple ones are what I want to play. I’ll have to look up “can’t stop”

It's amazing to me that you guys have a board game channel and haven't heard of can't stop. I can't actually wrap my head around it. Are you heavy war gamers?

This was based on a game by Schmidt Spiele named Level X😊. It’s a great spin on the dice rolling game.

We have limited knowledge of games and this is an interesting history you share. It seems like there is nothing new under the sun. Makes me wonder if the Pharoahs of Egypt played a version of Cosmic Encounter or Monopoly??

Bodie mentioned this, but that’s a great “brain break” game for a teacher to use in the classroom too! What’s the typical time for a round?

Never thought of using it in a classroom! 10-15 mins is average length. The more people play the faster they can go. In fact, I think this game would be really fun if your turn was timed (similar to a chess clock).
